Forum: Disney's Lilo & Stitch (PS1) Thread: PC version? Started by: MasterLeoBlueMasterLeoBlue |
Ok so it seems like a combination of dgvoodoo and dxwnd seems to do the trick. I still have to work out the crashing when deselecting the window but other than that I'm golden. |

Ok so turns out I had the wrong assumption, the game works because it is running through a debugger. NOP'ing the instruction doesn't do anything. This is very bizarre and I'm not sure why it works. |

I got it to work but it's not 100% working. I can play the game but it crashes when I try to click out of the window. Currently debugging the problem but I don't know how deep this issue goes. |

As already addressed on this forum, the PC version is actually just the PS1 version poorly emulated. You're better off just using ePSXe and submitting your time as emu. Save your rmoney. |

Very interesting. Could you send me the game through Discord? I have datamined this game and understand the code enough to document the differences. Stuff like this fascinates me. |
Forum: Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue Thread: where is the autosplitter Started by: ScytropeScytrope |
When you type "Toy Story 2" in Livesplit it should say "There is an autosplitter available" and it will give you an option to activate it. If it doesn't you can add it manually. Unfortunately the N64 emu autosplitter has stopped working for some reason. However the PC version still works well. Hope this helped. |
Forum: Treasure Planet (PS2) Thread: Emulators? Started by: domcastedomcaste |
Me and another dude a while back tried it on emulator. Every so often the camera would fly off the map. Then all controls would cease working. I suspect it is some strange DRM. But even if we could fix it, the accuracy is still pretty bad. The game is pretty cheap though. I got mine for 5 dollars. |

Forum: Barbie: Explorer Thread: LivesSplitter doesn't split even with Local Hotkeys enabled Started by: StinkekStinkek |
Because of how Windows works, you need to run LIvesplit as an admin if you want it to work with a game that you also ran as an admin. It has to do with permissions or something. |

Also make sure to run D3Dwindower as an admin. It doesn't work if you don't. Also in the future, make sure you mount Barbie to the same drive letter each time so that D3D knows where to look. |

The executable is located on the ISO itself. In the folder named "Explorer". Select Barbiex.exe with D3Dwindower and it should work. |
Forum: Maximo: Ghosts to Glory Thread: BCPS3 and PS3version Started by: yamanaruyamanaru |
Thanks for your question. I'm curious to see how this game runs on PS3 and PSN. You can do runs with those consoles but keep in mind that if major differences pop up we might have to separate the platforms. But for right now, since we don't know anything about them you can submit them like normal. Have fun! |

PAL is locked at 50fps This means that PAL runs are slower than NTSC by about 17% |

@PeterAfroPeterAfro Do a left strafe walk into the corner and then jump while holding left and forward. This is the most consistent way although it's not guaranteed. |

Why are you using PSXfin in the first place? Just use ePSXe, Mednafen, or Xebra. Almost every PS1 board on this site uses those 3 and bans all the others. Just see this as a learning experience for how things generally work on this site. EDIT: Just looked at the games you run. I suspect you're going to say "Well Medievil let me do it". Yeah that's because the boards are separate for that game. When you have a board that compares emulator to console, you need balance in place to prevent an unfair playing field. |
