Hi, I'd like to request Firo & Klawd leaderboard. https://www.speedrun.com/firo_and_klawd#Easy_Any_PS1

The last login of the moderator of that game was five years ago, and in his profile doesn't have any social media links or any way of contact. https://www.speedrun.com/user/Selfen/info

Thanks!

Hi! I'm the new moderator of the game.

I've just added more information and categories, including those two categories you've proposed.

Hi, I would like to be moderator of Graffiti Kingdom ( https://www.speedrun.com/graffiti_kingdom ). The last time the only moderator was online was 6 months ago, and it seems he's inactive in his Twitch and YT channel.

Also the leaderboard has no rules or information (like the platform).

Thanks.

Edit: Also I would like to quit as series mod for Dead or Alive, Samurai Shodown and Battle Arena Toshinden, as there are more active for those communities.

In the case of Dead or Alive, it has another series moderator, but for Samurai Shodown and Battle Arena, the new series mod could be @DBcadeDBcade , as he's currently the moderator of all the individual games inside the series.

SpeedyFists is an online marathon focused on fighting games.

This marathon will raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children's catastrophic diseases.

We recommend to join our Discord since we were organizing everything from there, you will receive all the news faster than here, and you can contact the organizers more easily.

Dates:

Submissions: February 2nd to March 22nd, 2020
Marathon: April 24th-26h, 2020

We will be doing submissions through speedrun.com. You can submit it clicking "Submit game" on the left of this page.

Submissions rules:

-Tell us your availability hours for each day individually. This day will be added in case we receive a huge number of submissions, but it will take priority to fill Saturday and Sunday rather than Friday.
-When you said your availability hours, tell us as well your time zone.
-There's no limit on how many games or categories you can submit. Each submission requires a video.
-In the case of a race, each runner must submit a form.
-In the submission form, it will be a field to include the incentives (glitch showcase, difficulty, anything you think it's interesting to watch or do, etc.) and the extra time you require in case the incentive is met.
-Emulators are allowed (except those who are banned).

About the games that can be accepted or not:

-TAS are accepted.
-Boxing, mixed martial arts and wrestling games, as we did on past marathons, can be accepted.
-Modes inside to fighting games, like Tekken Force, Chronicles of the Sword or Devil Within, can be accepted.
-Genres or games with fighting games features will be studied individually. In case of doubt, contact any of the organizers.
-Beat em up games could be accepted, but they will have less priority in comparison than more "pure" or conventional fighting games.

Hi! We're organising the fifth edition of SpeedyFists Marathon.

I have no idea about the requirements to have a dedicated page as other marathons have ( https://www.speedrun.com/uksg or https://www.speedrun.com/bsg ), but it would be interesting to have one.

Regarding the new marathon:

Name: Speedyfists - Autumn 2019
Theme: Online Marathon based on Fighting Games
Dates: 18th - 20th October 2019
Length: 3 Days
Charity: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Discord: https://discord.gg/xhhfbHV
Stream: https://www.twitch.tv/speedyfists
Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/SpeedyFists_
Mods: @NovaFortuneNovaFortune, @CountGoobyCountGooby, @MaiguelsMaiguels, @micsoulmicsoul, @ShirdelShirdel, @SanjihimuraSanjihimura, @tokko_tomcattokko_tomcat

If more information is required, please tell me.

Thanks!

@Daravae Right now there is a discord server for those fighting games speedrunning communities which don't have an own server, and Samurai Shodown has a channel in it.

I will add information to the series page, as the invitation link, or a thread if needed with more information.

At the same time I would like to add the other games of the franchise as there are some runners which have a run of a game without a leaderboard and don't know how to request it (either for ignorement of the procedure, they don't feel condifent to be a moderator, or don't have a good English level to be a person who must be in contact with the runners or answer their questions or debate about new categories, rules, etc.).

Right now I'm mod of other series, and always tried to update the information, the game of the entire series, and contact the people.

You can see my profile to see which series I moderate and what I did with them, setting up everything as soon as the leaderboards were accepted.

I'm requesting the mod to have everthing set to let new runners submit their runs, help them with all the information they require, and give them a place to join and talk if they want.

In case you finally decide to not give me the moderation role, I won't insist with that.

Thanks!

Hi!

I've requested at the same time Samurai Shodown V leaderboards and Samurai Shodown series.

Both were accepted but, for the Samurai Shodown series, you have sent me a message to request the moderator role for the series in case I want to.

Yes, I want to request the moderator.

Thanks!

I agree with Zojalyx, at least a warning to the organizations could've been helpful.

There are some marathon that kept all his information, but in the case of Distant Star Cares, all the submissions received during more than 2 weeks have disappeared.

Don't misunderstand me, I really appreciate all the work and effort you're doing for the site, but a simple warning would have saved a lot of work and time of other people and organizations.

Regarding the message system @xDrHellx, I found it very helpful.

Yes, you can have Twitter, Twitch, Youtube and a lot of social media, but not all people are active there, write their names correctly, or updated it if they change the name or account, but at the same time the user is active here in speedrun.com.

With the same reason you said that everyone has Twitter or Discord account, why sr.com should have Forums or Resources for each game if those resources can be found in its respective Discord server as well?

It has no sense to reject an internal way of contact, even if it's a simple one, that could solve a lot of miscommunication between users (specially with those leaderboard moderators that don't have any other social media or barely use).

Even that can help with the moderations requests you can see every day in this thread: https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7/339

Some of them would be really easy to solve if that pm system exists.

My apologies for not replying you before, there is no reason why I haven't seen your thread until now, 10 months later.

Sure, I can create Individuals Levels leaderboards.

About the vehicles and how you adquire them:

-Most of them consist in beat the level without receive any damage, beat the level with a certain number of points, or beat it less than a specific time.

I've still haven't unlocked all the games, but for the DRAG vehicle you've asked, it's the fastest vehicle in the game, but it spin so slow (specially when you're going fast) so in my opinion, it's not the best car for most of the missions.

@ShinkenX Do you think we're blind or stupid?

His last login was 1 month ago.

https://www.speedrun.com/user/chicdead26/info

Have you asked him? Tried to contact him through his social media he has in his profile?

It's not your first time you're trying to lie telling a wrong last login or the date you've submitted a run.

I don't know what you pretend with those lies and behaviour (like here http://prntscr.com/mxsgsq ), people like you shouldn't be a moderator.
