I'm sorry @MrMonkey49MrMonkey49 but this would not be acceptable. The video proof must contain the run achieving the score itself.

I spoke the main google snake dev. Apparently there has been a rollback with the snake game. The mode should be back in a few days.

The dev specifically made it for us so it's defo gonna be handy for all future runs!!
The timer should work for 25, 50, 100 (except small board), and all apples (small - 87, standard - 252, large - 501). This aligns with the categories we have in IL runs.

Yeah 0 Apples is not the best idea for a category. Theoretically it can be optimised almost immediately since turning around and hitting the wall behind the snake is the quickest death. Its not challenging enough to really be considered a run.

Did you mean the one where you avoid the apples in winged mode?

It was a concensus that the moderation teams decided around a month ago. We determined that cheated highscore runs and fast mode runs are easier to pass off as genuine, so sound is required to ensure there was no editting involved in the run.

As long as the recording is good enough (i.e. 15+ FPS framerate) then it should be verified.
The audio rule only applies to runs in either fast mode or a highscore run which top 5 within the category as a countermeasure for anyone trying to speed up or alter footage. The run will be rejected should run fall under such circumstances

I would just like to make all runners aware of this. We already have a massive backlog of runs as it is but I have just come across 1 hour 15 min video and we are expected to go through the whole footage to search for the exact run, which was only 50 seconds long.
PLEASE CROP YOUR RUNS TO THE RELEVANT SECTION OR INDICATE THE TIME IN THE VIDEO WHERE THE RUN STARTS. If you dont, the run will be rejected.

If you are submitting a fast or highscore run, please ensure you have the game sound ON! If it is good enough to make it into the top 5, we will REJECT the run if no game sound is included.
We have included this as a counter-measure against people who are splicing or speeding up runs. If there are any questions, reply on this thread or feel free to join the discord server and ask there (we are more likely to respond on discord)

We added a rule recently (26th Nov) where fast mode runs and highscore runs require sounds as a counter measure against any fake runs. Runs without it would be rejected (runs submitted past the day of announcement). You might've missed it because we announced it on discord and not here . If you think it is a valid run please let me know which one it is and I'll double check for you.

A lot of luck for a completable board. Also the skill to keep going with an uneven circuit until "all apples" is eaten. The small wall mode is known to be beatable tho, there is a TAS video done by Hoever.
