I am starting a longplay stream of NBA JAM on V.HARD today. I can see that there is a NBA CHAMPION for NBA HANGTIME, achieved 2hr 40min.
Maybe a category like this could be added to this game.

"Start time on team select, end on final buzzer when you've won the final game.

Include emulator version if run on emulator."

It would be best if any difficulty could be used and also any timer speed. For entertaining purposes I would think the CPU ASSISTANCE would be better if left ON.

These are the current rules settings for that category.

Yea cool, just wanted to point that out. I will try other methods to see if i get that splash screen.

I believe there is a problem with the rules, since the "Breaking News: Team Hire Player Name" Does not appear all the time on the splash screen i belive it is RNG. The msg that does appear all the time, and would make more sense is the inbox msg, where it states that you were apointed as manager.

The start playing window can be hidden by checking the box, where it says 'do not show this msg again'. For this reason I think it should be changed to "The Confirm or the Start Playing button"

Hahaha thats funny, ill look it up. Yeah the runs for matches could be timed after the kick-off button is pressed. and from there fastest hat trick, fastest red card, maybe.. i think its viable. As the kick off would be ideal for timing.
And maybe you are correct with the going on holiday with psg and hoping for the best. Bigger processing power would definitely have an advantage there.

I was even thinking of a speedrun, from non league to premier run. which would be long to say the least.

Football manager is hard to create becaue of the simulation nature of it. as you dont have much control on things like getting a red card and such. Maybe one has to incorporate a player who is prone to get red cards. I remember a player i had.. finished the season with like 12 red cards. LOL

Would it possible to add categories to football manager.

There could be - Editor and non editor use categories. With the in game status screen its easy to show this.

I have a few in mind:

Fastest Domestic League title win -
Fastest red card
Fastest Hat trick obtained by a player
Fastest penalty conceded

IDK, any ideas?

No problem, i did a new run from the status screen where it shows current version and databases. Saving lots on the video itself.

On the standing world record video, theres is no way to see if the person was utilizing a custom database or edit using the game editor, thanks.
