Wouldnt it be easier to re-time your run to the old timer rules so then you only have to re-time one run and not six? Also isnt it just that the skip doesnt work on the PC version of the game?

There is one other difference in the redux that I just noticed whilst doing level runs with a friend.
The murder by the river (cant remember what the crime is called lol), there is an additional scene where Travis confronts his dad, this adds around 30 seconds over the original.

I was asked to moderate this game better; so I decided to take a look at the issues it had. I decided the best thing to do would be to make a rule change (more of a clarification as it already said what versions of the game you had to play). I consulted with the other mod and we both agreed that this was the best action to take.

These rule changes invalidated all the runs that we currently had on the leader board and therefore I deleted/invalidated them.

Sorry for the inconvenience but this was the best way to make the game fair. I look forward to your new submissions.

Don't even know if web was an option when I added the game and the reason I haven't seen the notification is because I get like 50 a day and I have been on holiday only checking on mobile, so yeah kinda hard to see it.

You can do some cool clips in the new version, not sure if they can be useful or not

Well the secret door thing isnt gonna be fixed cos this update was to make it same as PS4 and XB1 versions (just newer Unity as u sed) and you cant do the clip in that. But just wanna makes sure they dont change anything else. Also it totally useless but u can use the secret door to clip yourself up the stairs and OoB.

Ah thats cos my FPS was too high lol, At 400 fps u get stuck on everything xD. Still gonna wait and see if they do any updates etc before we jump into a new category if thats ok.

Hey as you can see from how I verified your run I am active in SR.com (I have not uploaded many runs cos I'm working and cba). As for Ninja Roy specifically Hacked% is dead cos there is barley any time to save (feel free to try) and the Any% time is pretty good too tbh. I will always be around (never gone for more than 2 days) to verify runs as for doing runs I doubt me or the other runner will do any runs any time soon. But feel free to run the game and leave any suggestions in the forums.

That scene takes around 3:30 from exiting the mine, going up the elevator is around 30 seconds. So the traversal around that edge of the map would have to be under 3 mins to be worth it, still seems worth further investigation though.

I think some people may have already realised or maybe none has ever bothered to change it but do not disable head bobing. It makes you run very slowly, I had been getting runs where I got good RNG and things went well and they were 2 mins behind my PB and it was baffling..turns out that's why, i lost 20 seconds in running time from the end of traps to the start of spaceman. So yeah, never do that xD

Hey, yesterday I did a 100% run of the original, and due to how the game saves progress it would be faster to run 100% on Redux as you could do the Unfinished Story alongside the other stories instead of having to backtrack at the end of the game. This would save a few mins on the original and would make it a better run. So could we have this as a category?

That's tru lol. Might have a go at that or take on the gruelling task of doing 100%. I have 100% the game before, just have to make some notes and find an optimal route, would still be a long run tho xD

Thanks, never realised this made such a difference. Fuck the RNG in this game, never get 1st try spaceman anymore and that instantly loses time over my PB, then there is this RNG, then HoP and then the miner, which is the only good RNG I ever get, only died to him twice. Rip this run for me ;(

oh nice. I need to try and run this game again. But it was annoying me cos I cant seem to beat my current PB even tho I think I'm going way faster (I guess Witch RNG is part of that xD) but it mostly seems to be after HoP so meh, just shit to grind especially when you alrdy have 25 hours playtime.

Has that been timed? Cos i always thought that the scene was the same length and when she said a shorter sentence it lingered in silence for a second or two. Making it the same length.
