Resetting servers for a quick patch on a pretty severe bug that was found recently.

Website Changelog Update:11/25/22

Been delayed in updating, but the devs released another map once again. Look to the sky and feast upon your eyes as you will take action in the new glided skies map on Dungeon Quest.

Gilded Skies is the fifteenth dungeon in Dungeon Quest. It was released on 2022-11-25, and followed Northern Lands's release almost 11 months prior. Gilded Skies requires players to be level 190 for Insane difficulty and level 195 for Nightmare difficulty. It is recommended to have at least 1.2b to 1.8b health (600m glass) on Insane and at least 1.8b to 2.7b health (900m glass) on Nightmare. Players have 11 minutes to clear the dungeon.
The questing theme is Gilded Skies and the boss theme is Vytelus.

Mobs:
In Gilded Skies, there are 4 different types of mobs. Each mob has around 7.4Q base health on Insane and around 15.6Q base health on Nightmare. The mobs deal between 400m and 550m damage on Insane and between 625m and 800m damage on Nightmare.

Dracani Warrior
The Dracani Warriors are a melee type mob that follows the closest player or the player that has done the most damage to it, and once it reaches a player, it creates a lingering rectangle in front of itself and slashes forward 6 times.

Dracani Knight
The Dracani Knights are a melee type mob that follows the closest player or the player that has done the most damage to it, and once it reaches a player, it creates a circle attack around itself and slams its axe to ground, dealing triple the normal damage.

Dracani Mage
The Dracani Mages are ranged mobs that attack by creating an X-shaped beam at a player, inflicting a stun and an anti-heal effect for 3 seconds.

Dracanic Familiar
The Dracanic Familiars are ranged mobs that attack by creating a line in front of itself like basic ranged mobs that lingers for 5 seconds dealing damage.

Bosses:
Gilded Skies has 3 bosses, consisting of 2 mini-bosses and a main boss at the end of the dungeon. Each normal boss attack deals between 450m and 600m damage on Insane and between 700m and 900m damage on Nightmare.

Archpriest Kiryne
General Cragg
Vytelus, the Dragon Lord
Archpriest Kiryne
Archpriest Kiryne is the first boss of this dungeon. She is encountered in the 3rd room. Passively throughout the fight, she will create a beam which deals massive damage. To avoid it, players will need to face their avatar away from Kiryne until the "Look Away" text disappears. Then, the statue behind it will start firing lasers at 4 random players in the field. Players need to constantly be moving to avoid the beam. Next a few green circles appear, which will protect the players from getting killed by Kiryne's shockwave which hits after a few seconds. 1-3 purple orbs (depending on player count) also spawn at the same time and each of them will move to a random player, dealing 2x boss damage to anyone in its way and 3x when it reaches its target location. The orbs will repeat this cycle 3 times before it disappears. The deadliest ability is the red circular attacks which will form in a curved line, damaging players and stunning them, followed by serval vertical beams. The red circular attacks and vertical lines happens again, and then the cycle repeats.

The Archpriest Kiryne has a base of 22.2Q HP on Insane and 46.79Q HP on Nightmare.

General Cragg
General Cragg is the second boss of this dungeon, encountered in the 7th room. Upon entering the field, several vertical lines will appear randomly, and Cragg will be releasing expanding rings similar to Bob the Frost Giant in Northern Lands, but in six directions. Next, two players will be randomly linked with an explosive orb, which will explode and damage all players if the linked player did not touch it in time. The orb can also damage players if they touch the chain. After that, a random player will be glowing red which means that they are flame-cursed, 5 lingering circles will also constantly appear at the targeted player. During the curse, Cragg will attack the entire arena. Players need to enter the safety rings in order to survive. While also dodging the second wave of vertical Lines. The third wave contains three X-shaped beams at random players, a purple pulse beam with a similar style with Sea King's Grid attacks, that stuns player on hit, and lastly a giant meteor falling from the sky, which can tell by an expanding warning circle. The whole cycle repeats after that.

General Cragg has a base of 22.2Q HP on Insane and 46.79Q HP on Nightmare.

Vytelus, the Dragon Lord
Vytelus, the Dragon Lord is the third and currently the last boss of Gilded Skies, encountered in the 10th room. Throughout the battle, Vytelus will passively summon red orbs from the edges of the arena, and will explode dealing Aoe damage to all players if any player gets into contact with them, while also inflicting stun and anti-heal effects (There is a possibility that when players respawn at the final boss arena, the players that spawned in will trigger the red orbs killing the team due to the spawn layout). His first ability will create fire lines at a random player, with horizontal beams coming out next, similar to one of the Mage Overlord's ability in The Canals. Meanwhile, a yellow orb will spawn at a random player, and then releasing swirl circles in a similar fashion with Odin Reincarnation's passive ability, while also inflicting stun and anti-heal effect if hit. After that, three cyan circles will flash once, one by one, which warns player to stay inside the circle's range before Vytelus does his area attacks (For example, after all three circles finished flashing, go to the first flashing circle area, and go to the next flashing circle area after the first area attack is done). The circle's locations are completely random. During this dodging process, purple curved circles will appear at the first area attack, stunning players if hit. After that, Vytelus will summon a few fire walls that move along the arena. Players will have to find and go through the gap in order to survive. Beware that the fire walls deal absurdly lethal damage that can even kill a tank with a single touch. His final ability shares a similar method with Odin Reincarnation's colored beams. There will be 3 zones consisting of a purple triangle, yellow circle, and a cyan diamond. Whatever shape is above the player must correspond with one of the zones. Vytelus will give you about 4 seconds to enter the correct zone before exploding the arena afterwards. The cycle repeats after.

Vytelus, The Dragon Lord has a base of 22.2Q HP on Insane and 46.79Q HP on Nightmare.

Hey everyone! It's been a while since the last progress update on the new dungeon. Currently, most of the models are finished, new abilities are done, 2 and a half boss fights are programmed, and almost all of the new item stats have already been determined.

The only thing left is for me to finish the final boss fight, Blacksmith and Rajlo are working on the final weapons/armors, and Albert Kim is composing the music for the dungeon.

- Any players auto banned by the anti exploit are being given 1 final chance to play properly. Inventories of those unbanned have been wiped and levels reduced.

Hey everyone, just a heads up, Dungeon Quest will be having a 2x EXP event starting NEXT WEEKEND to help players prepare for the new dungeon (still in progress).

Also, we will be doing a ONE TIME unbanning wave of all accounts that have been banned throughout the games life for exploiting. A lot of players have been banned for a very long time so we'll be giving them a second (and final) chance. Anyone over a certain level threshold will have their level reset or lowered.

As of 5/26/22, the official dungeon quest discord has posted a speedrun rules list that includes the official rules list they will be using. I'll be utilizing almost the majority of the rules that will be used to be almost exact of what they use on the server.

This includes the following of the re-introduction to skill points that are used officially by them, showing the skill points and armor being used, boss manipulation, and third-party hardware being used.
Misc changes will also include for the site to now add a 4th place icon, rules update, and a Bonus boss category. Run that have fallen before the skill point change that hasn't shown proof will be moved to the old category called w/o skill points. This will not apply to the plus speedrun categories as provided.

Resetting servers to push the bonus boss update through!
- After fighting Northern Lands on Nightmare difficulty you will be asked to fight a bonus boss for a chance at an Ultimate tier item. This boss is recommended to have multiple people.
- Camera should no longer get zoomed all the way in when someone walks in between you and the camera.

2x EXP event will be coming soonish. Will keep you all posted.

Hey everyone, I know it's been a long time since an update.

I've been working on a smaller update that will be launching soon (will give a more accurate ETA shortly). This update will include an Optional Bonus Boss fight at the end of Northern Lands on Nightmare difficulty. The boss will most likely NOT be solo-able and will be very challenging. The loot he drops will be the normal dungeon loot PLUS a chance at an "Ultimate" tier weapon which is ABOVE "Legendary".

While this is being developed, progress has already been started on the next dungeon. A lot of the concept art has already been created and the Map is mostly finished being created by @BIack_Smith . Look out for sneak peeks soon to come : )

Somewhere between the new bonus boss update and the new dungeon update, there will be a 2x exp event that should last for a week or so.

Website Changelog Update: 12/27/21 - 2/10/22

Almost seven months have passed and the winter has magically come out of nowhere for another brand new dungeon quest map update. And no it is not the north pole.

Northern Lands is the fourteenth dungeon in Dungeon Quest. It was released on 2021-12-27, and followed Enchanted Forest's release almost 7 months prior. Northern Lands requires players to be level 180 for Insane difficulty and level 185 for Nightmare difficulty. It is recommended to have at least 550M to 750M health (240M glass) on Insane and at least 850M to 1.5B health (400M glass) on Nightmare. Players have 11 minutes to clear the dungeon.

The questing theme is NLDungeon and the boss theme is NLBoss.

Northern Lands has 3 different mobs. Each mob has 1.53Q base health on Insane and 3.2Q base health on Nightmare. The mobs deal between 184M and 216M damage on Insane and between 294M and 326M damage on Nightmare.

Mobs:
Northern Warrior
Northern Warriors are mobs that follow the closest player or the player that has done the most damage to it, and once it reaches a player, it creates a circle attack around itself, dealing damage twice with a second circle slightly bigger than the first, before firing ahead an attack in the direction it is facing.

Northern Spearman
Northern Spearmen are ranged mobs that attack in a line that spans both ahead of them and behind them. Players damaged are temporarily frozen in place.

Northern Mage
Northern Mages are mobs that attack by creating lines perpendicular to the direction they are facing multiple times over a large range. Between attacks, they stay stationary for a moment before attempting to either attack again or move towards a player to close distance. Each attack deals damage and inflicts the 'Anti-Healing' debuff onto hit players, preventing them from being healed for a moment.

Bosses:
Northern Lands has 4 bosses, consisting of 2 mini-bosses, a main boss at the end of the dungeon, and an optional boss. Each normal boss attack deals between 205M and 352M [verification needed] damage on Insane and between 324M and 590M [verification needed] damage on Nightmare, while the optional boss deals between ?M and ?M [verification needed] damage.

Midgardian Champion
The Midgardian Champion is the first boss of Northern Lands, encountered in the 2nd room, standing upon a pillar. Passively throughout the fight, two beams will span through the middle of the pillar and rotate around the arena, pulsing with set timing to deal damage. The distance from one beam to the last is random. The first attack consists of many red whirlwinds being summoned from outside the arena to fly inwards, moving in straight lines around the arena, dealing rapid damage to players who make contact. Next, a massive circle will appear under a random player, with the Midgardian Champion appearing in the middle after a long delay while dealing damage to players within the circle. 5 spiked rings will then be summoned and directed towards random players. The Midgardian Champion will then release a bigger spiked ring which is much bigger in size. All spiked rings explode and deal damage in an area upon contact with a player. Afterwards, the Midgardian Champion teleports back onto the pillar and the rate at which the passive beams spawn is increased intensely for a few seconds, along with an increase in the damage the beams do. After this, the attack cycle repeats.

The Midgardian Champion has a base of 5Q HP on Insane and 9.6Q HP on Nightmare.

Bob The Frost Giant
Bob The Frost Giant is the second boss of Northern Lands, encountered in the 4th room. Throughout the battle, ice beams connected by two orbs will be sent in random directions from random locations outside the arena, moving very slowly. Bob The Frost Giant starts off by slamming the ground towards a random player, creating rings towards the target, the size of the rings expanding as the attack travels. Next, a ring is summoned under up to 3 players with the highest health, with icicles appearing on attack, the attack greatly expanding in size each time until it has attacked thrice, dealing double the damage of other attacks. Bob The Frost Giant will then send out an orb towards up to 6 random players, homing in on the targets while moving at the same speed a player would without speed abilities, requiring targeted players to lead the orb into a crystal of the same color located around the battlefield, either red, yellow, or green. If the orb makes contact with the player, damage is dealt in an area around the orb while also inflicting the 'Anti-Healing' debuff for a short moment. If the orb makes contact with a crystal of the same color, the orb vanishes. Dotted lines are connected between orbs and the targeted player to indicate which orb is targeting which person. Almost immediately after sending out the orb, Bob The Frost Giant will create a burst of beams outwards all around, stunning players hit for an extremely brief moment, dealing damage twice if the player is close enough. Afterwards, large lines will span the arena once while similarly stunning players for an extremely brief moment, before the attack cycle repeats.

Bob The Frost Giant has a base of 5Q HP on Insane and 9.6Q HP on Nightmare.

Odin
Odin is the third boss of Northern Lands, encountered in the 8th room. Throughout the battle, halved-circular beams along with a whole circle in the middle of the arena will passively[verification needed] appear 4 times in succession, damaging players and inflicting 'Anti-Healing' for 1.2 seconds. Shortly after players enter the arena, Odin will unleash a wave of fireballs over time from one random side, the path of the fireballs indicated by dotted lines, which explode on contact with players. One is sent out initially, and then two more are sent out a moment afterwards to the left and right of the initial projectile, with more fireballs being sent out even further left and right over time. Then, Odin will create beams towards a random player, with more beams appearing over time, progressively directed away from the target and more so to the sides, inflicting 'Anti-Healing' for roughly 2 seconds upon hit. His final attack is to shine a light down upon the middle of the arena, releasing orbs in a spiral that bounce around the arena and detonate upon contact with a player, lasting until the next time this attack is used. Afterwards, the attack cycle repeats.

Odin has a base of 5Q HP on Insane and 9.6Q HP on Nightmare.

@Eg07Eg07 The Difficulty& category is supposed to be intended as an 'All difficulties' run meaning that you have to all the difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard, Insane, and nightmare in any order as you like. Considering that there has been only 2 dungeons Desert and Winter only have all of the 5 difficulties, I'll probably have a guide up just to avoid the confusion of those who want to plan to run that category. It will be up during the summer since I have been so inactive on the game.

- Robux Gold Shop now scales with your level! Higher levels should get much more gold from spending Robux.
- Northern Lands item sell prices have been fixed (a while ago but all servers will be fresh now)

- The new dungeon "Northern Lands" has arrived for levels 180 and 185.
- new featured cosmetic store! (pickles vs. carrots)
- removed candy shop completely

Later updated 1: Okay I've pushed a few more small nerfs. I don't want it to be harder for bigger groups, I think that makes it less fun.
Tomorrow I'll see how its going and make more necessary changes.

Later Updated 2:
For anyone curious of some of the nerfs, some of the notable ones are:
- first boss spiked circles have a smaller radius of their explosion instead of damaging all players.
- second boss orb explosions have a radius instead of hitting everyone, anti healing doesnt last as long
- second boss ice spikes deal 2x damage instead of 3x
- second boss anti healing less duration and orbs move slightly slower
- second boss stun is much shorter
- third boss anti healing duration is 1.2 seconds instead of 3 seconds.

Later updated 3: UHH, okay sooooooooooo the last boss had a bug where he was hitting everyone multiplied by how many people were in the group.
This should be fixed so those missiles wont one shot your group anymore : )

Shutting down servers to remove the bonus event and halloween boss fight.
You can no longer earn candy by completing dungeons but the shop will be around for a little longer in case anyone hasn't spent their candy yet.
Most of the legendary drop rates will stay increased, especially the lower tier dungeons.

The new dungeon is still being worked on and is starting to look real nice Will have some sneak peeks soon!
For anyone who was close to getting a cosmetic in the Candy shop, you are still able to purchase Candy amounts with Robux if you choose to.

Later updated: Updating dungeons to not give candy anymore. Oopsies xD

Website Changelog Update: 8/07/21 - 11/23/21 | INTRODUCING BOSS RAIDS

Greetings dungeon quest speedrunners. It's been a while since there was any update change in regards to the site. We hope that everyone from the dungeon quest community as well as the Roblox speedruns community has a happy thanksgiving. Not only that we are here to give thanks but to have given out what awaits for the updates that are in store.

We have now finally presented the long and awaiting boss raids to now be added in the speed runs. To require doing boss raid runs, you will have to be at level 130+ and must have a boss raid key to start the run. These boss raid keys can be found only on the nightmare difficulty on Steampunk Sewers. When earning a key on steampunk sewers, these keys can be proceeded to the next tier and so on. Passing/failing to beat the tier will either go to the next tier or lose a tier. While looking at the information, we have also provided updates and rules in the speedrun site.

- Updated rules to be more visibly clear such as:

- Added final rules to boss raid runs
- Anything higher than boss raids gear will not be counted

Resetting servers to push an update!
- New rotating cosmetic store! (rotates every 24 hours)
-Event and dungeon cosmetics are not in the rotation-
- New Featured cosmetic store that displays the newly released cosmetics (same as the old store)
- 2x EXP event is over
- Gold drops for Desert Temple - Steampunk Sewers has been TRIPLED!
- Teammate nameplates are now in alphabetical order
- New cosmetic armor and title for Enchanted Forest

There are two shops! One is "Featured" which is the SAME FOR EVERYONE! The other is "Cosmetics" which is different from player to player.
