To address one more listed advantage -- an individual 45 second run is not interesting for GDQ. Much like a single 45 second stage of Celeste is not. These runs (trilogy in particular) can extend for 45+ minutes real time even on a record-breaking run and on a GDQ showcase style affair could easily go 1+ hours real time.
