So I requested two things to the SRC mods since the leaderboard has been dormant.

1. TheSiege be made into a Super Mod
2. I be allowed to at the least verify runs

It looks like they made me into a super mod as well, I don't plan on changing the leaderboard layout currently or making any rash changes, I figure we should just have something available to approve of incoming runs.

I've had a pending run on the Sweet Home leaderboard for about a month now. The guy who moderates the board is on again and off again in terms of being logged onto the site. I also noticed he isn't a super mod for the board so I don't think he could appoint more mods if he wanted to. I feel the game can use an additional verifier or a new super mod at a minimum and have posted a thread on the forums there.

The Siege should remain as a mod but I'd like the ability to add on additional moderators so the leaderboard doesn't die.

I'm not sure which forums to reach out to him on unfortunately but he has responded to forum posts previously about a month and a half ago

I know we can request moderator roles, this is more about not rocking the boat. TheSiege has made leaderboard changes fairly recently and is still active online. This is more just about figuring out what's happening leaderboard wise here before going to site mods

As a side note I noticed TheSiege isn't a supermod for the game, we may need to contact the SRC moderators to get that enabled

I'm not sure if this is the right place but I wanted to ask if there is any interest in adding in a verifier role? I've had a run in submission limbo for about 30 days now, there's usually some time to account for peoples schedules but I feel having some community members act as a verifier should help process runs.

From what I can tell Sant was a moderator for this game but has been MIA from Speedrun.com for over a year. I moderate plenty of other horror games and can do the same for this game given I know the genre well.

If Sant ever returns he'll be re-modded but for now I'll verify runs for NEN

@DaravaeDaravae Weird situation I got, I recently learned the game Neverending Nightmares and went to check on submissions and I think it may be an inactive leaderboard. https:/​/​www.​speedrun.​com/​neverending_nightmares

1. The only moderator currently is a guy named Sant who has not been online for 3 years. His Youtube itself has a video from one year ago only.
2. The only other runner somehow was able to verify his own run although he isn't a moderator.

I just submitted the run but looking ahead I'm fairly certain that at the very least Sant won't be watching it anytime soon so the board may need a new/additional moderator

It would likely be HD console from what I can tell with the other PS3 Submissions

I firmly believe that JPN should be the primary run if we want to keep it separated but it feels currently like a work in progress for the board adjustments all things considered. As a worse case scenario for translations we can just enforce that whichever version is better to use to be the standard and allow the older runs on the other to be doctored in

So looking at the recent Leaderboard change I have a few questions.

1. Why is the 2016 translation the "primary" category? This is the one that pops up as you open the page when it has the least amount of runners. If anything traditional Any% should be available.

2. Why separate Gaijin and 2016? It seems like a better spread would be Original and Translated.

3. Why not just put in a marker similar to Silent Hill 2's bug room which uses a Yes/No on if the trick is used? We can apply the same logic to Translation? and then have it mark Yes/No.

For an already small leaderboard it feels incredibly odd to have it segmented as much as it is

Quick question. Is the Tower of Babel Pairs mode leaderboard only available for 1p2c runs? The leaderboard features the dual runners but I noticed the main leaderboard is only solos

Slightly off topic, is the Sticky Keys glitch still working for you guys? I tried it recently and it wasn't working for me.

Traditionally on most speedrun boards if the run is actually being done there is a reason to add it.
I would recommend showing Lurk if you've done any runs of this yet with 2p to see if it can be added.

Adding categories with no runs normally isn't a smart move however

We aren't sure if the IGT is reliable. If it is that means both emulator and console could be on the same leaderboard.

As well the standard idea is that if there is expressed interest in ILs they can be added, however expressed interest means someone is actually running the game since just saying one might is not enough to just have an entirely empty board up

You know Melee kills are the easiest part by far given that you can get all of them from the bug room right?

Another factor to note would be with the release of Full Body coming out there likely won't be too much interest in the PC sub category given people would likely be going to the new leaderboard that was previously talked about. It's extremely likely the Catherine Classic category will have little to no submissions given the state of it all.
