The skill set over the entire history of no AJS or any category at all for that matter is not at all related to holding a button and releasing it at a frame perfect moment. And to reiterate, it's not a very practical idea to require proof of failure to validate proof of success.

No, runners are not required to stream or upload many hours of failed attempts if they do not want to. This whole discussion kinda cringe ngl. Time moves fast and maybe a month ago seeing a 1st 1st 3rd 2nd 1st was kind of crazy, but if anyone is looking at this and is unfamiliar, please understand those numbers aren't suspicious on their own.

I have had this issue in the past where the autosplitter just doesn't work, I think it has something to do with the hook process but I am not very well informed on stuff like that. Either what you described where the timer will start on new game but just won't split, or the timer just won't start like it should. Either way normally closing San Andreas and re-opening fixes this issue for me.

When I first started running this game, I also had problems with OBS. I remember I had to use a different streaming app called Xsplit. Nowadays I use SLOBS (not that that should function differently from OBS) and I launch the game through dxwnd. Maybe this was my fix?

In all seriousness, I won't speak on behalf of other mods but personally I recognize that I could definitely be doing better and putting more time into checking things and I will try to work on it. Having said that, it might be a bit more mature in the future to try to handle your problems without putting people on blast. DMs are open.

To verify what eBen said above (assuming you are on windows), you can open task manager and look at the performance tab to see uptime. I didn't believe this at first either but you can clearly see when you shut down and turn back on, the uptime is still at the same value. You seriously need to click on "RESTART".

Rezise the window to be a stupid tall rectangle. I think a bit taller than 4x3.
