In my case there is useful a reinstalling of media player you are using...

1. Delete media player.
2. Reload PC.
3. Install media player (if you really need it).
4. Launch the game.

It's very weird but helps with 90% chance.

Bruuuuh... Yes, it would be fun... But I don't think that this fun achieves the place on the leaderboard...

To be honest, there is a sense to make something like timetable of moderators' worktime. We are all living in different countries. So, everyone of us has their own comfortable time for moderating the game due to timezones. It would be very useful thing in order to prevent a situation where all moderators will be going to check it.

When I was speedrunning I used to listen some "external" music from phone. In other words, I heard the game from one earphone and the music from another earphone XD

Is it allowed to load the saves I have made during the run?

Sorry for that question, but I just couldn't find the answer... Everywhere is written about passwords only.

As for me, I don't think it's so necessary now... We have enough categories for running for now... I mean that we might wait for some more people there. I just don't see any sense of adding more categories now. Moreover, we have already have a new one – 100%. This one is not optimized at all...

@If_And_WhileIf_And_While, it was just my opinion... I don't know which way would be chosen, but I will continue to speedrun this game anyway while the leaderboards are existing.

What a complicated game we are playing (this sentence is useless)... Honestly, deleting the PC version from the leaderboards is the most right decision, as for me. But... If we are not using the "Door Skip" function we are getting fair IGT timer on PC. So, everyone of us has its own speed of the game but everyone has equal IGT.

As I said before, I am for the #3. It could be temporarily... Nevertheless, I would like to try this option as an experimental decision. If everything will be fine or just better then we just keep PC version without IGT... Until new age of troubles begins...

I am for the case #3. Well, it will be much more fair. Also it will be very useful to turn on the IGT in the separate window. I don't think it would be comfortable to play with IGT written right on the game window... Maybe it deserves even a new rule: show IGT... But this condition maybe not so necessary... Just for information to the speedrunners.

I guess there is not so important to enter the code desperately because you have to collect all files... Therefore, player can just optimize his time and just collect the file with actual elevator code and then open the access to elevator!

Damn it! I just recognized it! You can really forget about pushing the elevator panel to get a first code!!!

Well, I want to know what kind of completion do you want to get? Because there is possible to kill ALL dinos in the game... And it will take veeeeery muuuuuch tiiiiime and will NOT be so interesting.

If there is a plan to get everything you can in the game then it is wrong to name such category as "100%". Let it be "High%", for example. That one would be really interesting... No... Both... Title and conditions. For example, I have never heard about "High%" category. Looking at such title I would be interested in what I have to do there... And there is written: "Complete the game, collecting all red (Dino) and blue files, all improvements, weapons and secondary items (EPS Cards and more)." Sounds like a cool challenge cause there are so much ways to investigate new category...

@RapixOnGamingRapixOnGaming, about different emulator versions – it goes without saying. In that case, I understand why ePSXe is unwanted. It is due to an easy change of the video plugin which could slightly accelerate the run... Or turning on the frameskip... Or setting up, for example, 61 fps instead of 60 fps. I know it is also possible in Mednafen, but it has to be done much harder. Don't remember about BizHawk. I think it is the same with Mednafen.

In my opinion, there should be at least 3 emulators which are allowed to use. Well, I think it is necessary to allow all players to select the most comfortable emulator for themselves. But there is appearing one question: what should be done with runs made on PSXjin?

I think it is a good idea because RTA is really needed in the PC version only. For me, it was very weird you should launch the RTA timer while playing PS2. In the console, the value of the RTA timer is more than 10 minutes more than the IGT timer. Moreover, this value doesn't be added to the record.

Wow... What a discussion! Guys, do you know what? Have you seen Crash Bash leaderboards? Well, take for example "Any% 2 players" category. There is possible PS2, Emu, PS... Well, PS2 could work much faster than PS Emu... This nonsense of incomparability exists at least 5 years there... AT LEAST...

If we can do nothing we must to discuss this with "GOD" moderators... BUT... Ahahah, I think everything we could think about has been used long time ago...

So, there is two solutions...

First – calm down and live further.
Second – make a gamers' collaboration and fight with "big bosses" using our united opinion... But I might be sure this alternative was also used...

Just drink tea, eat cookies or update apps on your phone as I used to .

I am agree that cutscenes are annoying. No problem if you play the game just for relax... But in "speedrun mode" I don't want to watch these cutscenes at all after 10th restart already...

Hmmm... Why there is no such category using this glitch? I think it would be interesting for other players, but I am not sure. If you use demo glitch than you should run the game in a different way (at least the first third of the game).
