We have discussed it, and you know this. There is no toxicity in rejecting your runs on the basis of those runs breaking the rules of the categories you submit them to. You were told this multiple times in your rejection notices. And finally, constantly making the same forum posts over and over again will do absolutely nothing for you.

We did look at it, and the run didn't follow the rules of the category you submit to (or any for that matter).

The issue with NG+ is that the game doesn't refill your ammo when you load a level through mission select like in 2016.

If you would like to have IGT for console runs, please re-time your own runs.

Locking this thread as it's not productive. For future reference, asking these questions in the Discord will get faster responses from the mod team.

No one has ever said that we would not look into splitting the categories (now at least since it makes sense). We spent all of yesterday working on getting a working downpatch.

This is what we said yesterday, as we were getting the downpatch working. Everything takes time.

Hi, here to address a few of your concerns:

1. It's not unfair that console and pc are in the same category, as you can do the boosts on console just like on pc. Here's a video showcasing just this:

2. Isn't it strange that the Discord user you mention just so happens to be the account that you have linked to this SRCom account?

3. We, the moderators, have told you in Discord all of the information regarding #1 in this response; in fact, you even admitted to being wrong and then followed that up with "you guys are cheaters".

@ReanikRM None of us are going to route or run it as we don't want to sit through a 9 minute unskippable cutscene. Put the time into doing those two things (and as long as there are others who will actually run All Main Quests) and sure, we could see about adding it. Other than that, nope.

So since rail boosting was allowed and theres no OoB in Argent Energy Tower, does that mean it's ok for me to rail boost all the way to the top? See, this is the issue with glitchless. With a game that's: 1. This broken and 2. This open in terms of the maps, it's virtually impossible to define what is and isn't a glitch. You should know that this was the reasoning as you were in the discord everytime it was brought up with the only time you said anything at all waa after it's removal. It's the same with every community, if you want to have a say in the choices the COMMUNITY makes, yes not just to mods, then join and be active. It's that simple.

Everytime I use "Define what is OoB and Inbounds in Argent Energy Tower" as an example, noone wanting glitchless back can answer that question. With that in mind, the "play the game as intended" arguement falls flat.

Oh and by the way, I have run Glitchless abd was the only person to have submit a Glitchless run in the past 6 months. 😮

In all seriousness, run what you want. And once again, the mods have stated that they will re-add Glitchless if people: 1. Define rules that actually make sense and can be applied on every level and 2. Actually run the fucking category with said rules. If only people actually joined the community instead of bitching all the fucking time they would know this.

Man, if only there was a way to get glitchless back on the leaderboard and if only the people complaining they want it back actually did runs of the category. It's not like the mods told people exactly the way to get this awful category back up on the leaderboards or anything. But no, they are the only people that make the decisions around here eh?

You obviously haven't been running Doom for long, because you would actually know just how hard it is to define rules for Glitchless in this game. Take Argent Energy Tower for example: define what is inbounds and out of bounds.

Also yes, Glitchless is a meme in Doom.

You can't do railboosts or the BFG boss-kill glitch. Due to this, some levels take a bit longer on console over PC (Argent Energy Tower for example).

@Nvinside What part of UAC was patched because I just did the level with all the skips (excluding the crane launch because I'm bad lol)? I am on the most recent patch as well.

I was messing around in Argent D'Nur and found this skip. Should this glitch even be allowed in runs though?
