i mean, i was doing some routing the other day and it might be faster to do the dynamic guardian glitch to gather certain parts needed for the armor and bow. (the other items can be gathered from the shrines) So you could kill the guardian turret while grabbing the dynamic guardian from hyrule castle.

it all depends on if there is any interest in it. there is also the issue of people having to show their face to show to the world which some people may be uncomfy with.

also, @Aquatic_OxAquatic_Ox are you including the guardian turrets?

Yeah but then you would need to include all the items as described above in the former save files inventory and vessles/containers which adds onto things a fair bit

i think that these rules would cover pretty much everything. cross savefile glitches would also need to be banned but apart from that the any% low% run remains bomb rune only pretty much weapon wise. ad would basically be the same but far more of a headache. everything else is just long and arduous unfortunately. but hey idc about my sanity so i might do a run to show what it would be like as an example vid

Also another thing to think about is the routing. The armour and other items require ruppes and ancient parts to aquire. So you may need to think about how you are going to get them. The push a guardian 2 map squares gliych is and option but killing guardiams is also potentially viable. You would need to time both and find the fastest route.

Keep in mind @GamerAlecGamerAlec that currently this is not an official run on the leaderboards and the rules have not been fully defined. It might be a good idea to define the rules before starting the routing process. Good luck!

Its a cool odea but perhaps bulking out the ideancould help. Such as adding get a set of guardian armour or something thats fun and gives the run a bit of length. I think that its a cool idea! Next is to define the rules clearly and get 5 people to run it!

The armour would't be tricky at all. The route might be plat, blss from plat tower to mogg latin then blss to the different pieces of armour while collecting the odd flameblade then gannon. Interesting certainly not sure if there would be any interest in it though as it would be another semi arbitrary run as its just any% us a bit but not a half bad idea! If you can get 5 people to run it then its got a chance of being added as its not as arbitrary as a lot of other suggested runs but that would depend on how the mods feel and/or think about it.

It would just be shrine clip branch boko camp then run to bombs shrine so basic routing and another among many meme catagories that don't leave the plateau. Its a nice i dea and i see the funny side of it but as mario said its somewhat arbitrary.

The main thing is in every botw run cross save file glitches are banned right? Besides a true low% run only needs 1 item plus the bol when you have to pick it up. That item is a shield which you could use to shield clip into the four shrines and complete them using runes. Then its just a bombs only run straight to gannon. Yes you do need to get the 4 spirit orvs and the oaraglider but they go without saying. So its the shield (pot lid is the highest durability on the plateau so its the obvious choice), 4 spirit orbs, glider and bol after gannon. Thats it. No armour or food or anything else. That is for a true low% run

It would be a long run to verify but getting the list of trees from the object map is simple enough

Yes defining it is a very good idea. I've been working and editing a ruleset for a week now and i'm nearly done. (exams getting in the way) then if top runners agree that the rules make sense then i'll run it and see what the community does with it

Which emulators are allowed are specified in the game rules. Idk about the reason but there are a few reasons i can think of as to why

so its not a horrible idea but its just another plat plus cooking pot. botw already has lots of runs like that which only do sor or plat and thats pretty much it. its not that its a bad idea, its just there is little difference between it and other cats

also just to add on to what pika said, there is a device called the titanone which can be used to script inputs and create tas's on switch and other supported consoles. it currently does support the gyroscope for the switch so it allows motion controls to be tased as well
