It will always impress me finding people enjoying the bad Beat 'em ups Kappa Well to be fair R is the better one compared to all the Sailor beat 'em ups.

So yeah like the title say, i did a very sloppy update after realizing a little mistake in the board i made.

Hard mode difficulty in this game doesn't allow continues so the mode is not playable in Any% category due to the Reset used. If you do that in this mode the game will just display a "Start new game" each time you reset the console.

I had to remove that value but all the variables are attached either per group "Full game" or by a single attachment so i had to create 5 different subcategories in order to get Any% 2 Difficulty.

Some of my runs got deleted and other was just lost so i had to post everything back.

If there's bugs, something i did wrong or if i simply didn't found the way of just grouping multiple selected categories to the variable tell me and make me feel dumb thanks !

Sorry i quiet don't understand your first question mate. A run is a run, if you did one, you post it for a verification you just have to make sure you timed it according to the rules and put the right categories while submitting.

True ending is the fastest route other count but they're slower.

You might be right for the items @Angel_Arle it was locked on save states so it wasn't a roll RNG system like in final fight 3.

Boss 1 I loop her with the jump atk Boss 2 I knock him down with a def special then on wake up i planeshift, combo 3 hit def special and then i release double ultimate to clear. Boss 3 Loop with jump atk (problem being the Goo bitches that can grab you.) Boss 4 Loop never catches him cause his main movement is that front flip jump so he'll always break out of it. I usually get on the corner where he jumps first and use the def special as a loop till he drop enough health to use 1 ultimate to finish him.

Jupiter got a fast ultimate atk with good damages, short range but ok defensive special, high Damages but rely on short range combos + grabs that can get extremely risky specially towards the end of a run with all the AI being aggro insta grabbing you. She's also a very slow character.

I rather like to play Venus that got better mobility, better range, great defensive special and the stunlock that can really work perfectly against all the enemies including Bosses.

I guess without talking seriously on very specific strategies, AI manipulation and perfect routing Jupiter win easily cause even if something go wrong she's delivering tons of damage where Venus need the best set ups to shine, if you don't get the group of mobs stunlock to death you lose a huge amount of time cause you only have the double jump hit, 3hit + special and that drains her HP quiet a lot.

I think Jupiter is around 19 and Venus can be a 18 at best with good routing.

I've been routing the game with venus a little bit, some areas need to be worked better and i still have to figure out the best possible ways to manipulate some enemies ad a strat for the last Boss

My Best time with Venus on normal is 20:14 did lots of mistakes, got grabbed and some stuff didn't went according to the plans. Also there's a little bit of RNG that might save a full screen on stage 3-2 sometimes item giving you an extra ultimate instead of food.

Each characters and Difficulties change the way you have/can play the game, there's things you can do on Easy that you can't on normal or higher difficulties.

• Is playing on easy teach you bad habits ? if you want to play easy not at all, If you plan to do Mania 1cc or some other stuff like that, yes of course it seem pretty obvious.

• The game teaches you everything on Hardest in order to understand enemies AI and learn your character in the intended way. Mania is the step further, game speed is so fast that you only have the best options to use and it test your ability to react and improve the situations in a small amount of time but if you watch Anthony streams you'd know that already. Yes you have to play at least Hardest to have the full experience compared to the easy modes.

• You always do use strats in speedruns. It will develop once you understand the way the game work by experience and observations. SOR2 is impacted by RNG sadly though and some strats are used to avoid having to deal with that RNG.

• Are you an idiot to set a goal in your speedruns ? Yes ! go speedrun SOR3 it's a way much better speedrun with no rng lol. Of course you're not an idiot ! you can easily get that mark once you understand the game better and it's good to set up goals to reach for your runs otherwise it'll be pretty pointless.

For easy mode it's really simple so you don't need that much commitment to the game, just be consistent, never get hit/ko and get good RNG overall your run gonna already spike at 24mins mark. Trust me being able to reach the decent times is the easiest task and it's really rewarding i think.... At least i was glad when i reached that. The real deal gonna be the perfect run, that is a long grind and it is really frustrating.

Yeah i asked myself that question too, i didn't passed the doors i consider it's like taking another path than the intended one. But honestly i don't know, it's @huxxny category.

Apparently the game doesn't run the same, if we have to implement it, we'll have to make a different category for the version. Need to see Galedog's take on that.

Hey Misterscoot, it looks like the board accept USA version of the game which is impossible because the game was only released in japan.

This error also duplicated a run on the board.

Also the category cosplay% should be deleted since out of context categories / memes are not allowed on main games.

There is a list for the All kill ? cause it's confused, some zombies / enemies are hidden and some repop in certain zone after a cutscene.
