Do we HAVE to get 1st on the event to get the level run verified?
When I read the rules for all variables including Bowser's Fury, I can't see "Video proof is required for runs faster than the threshold defined." and/or "Video proof is required for every submission."
I found that some people were submitting a run to beat a WR with or without video. Maybe they used splits. EDIT: I cannot find a way to use a picture for my IGT.
I submitted my 20 Shines run, 4 days have passed and it is not verified yet. I timed it on LiveSplit One and uploaded my splits to Splits.io.
What if there was All-Stars 217? It’s like, Super Mario 64 80 Star, Super Mario Galaxy 71 Stars and Super Mario Sunshine 66 Shines.
Oh, nvm. It was my first run as well.
Thanks @BennyTheGreat. So, when the run ends for me, I add up the time from breaks and from LiveSplit. For example, if my breaks were 1h 30 minutes in total and I got 3:50:00 from LiveSplit, the total time would be 5h 20. As long as I do it all at once and recorded, I can submit it. Multiple videos to add extra proof is required for all of my full-game runs. These rules can be added to the full-game leaderboards. I'll start setting up my splits.
@1UpsForLife, I submitted my 20 Shines run in 1:18:28, almost 2 days have passed and it is not verified yet. What am I gonna do about this...
-Game Over- Final Report: It would take 1 submission to get my runs terminated. The rejection to my speedruns were so unfair. It is impossible to do the Gelato Skip, even on 3DAS. I cannot believe the moderator did this to me, and I'd never recommend anyone doing this speedrun. They force you to do it all at once with no breaks which is too extreme.
The only run type I will turn in is Any% only. Reason: The longer categories are too extreme for me.
@BennyTheGreat, Almost every skip is really difficult. The best part is the beginning of it. Here are my parts for each video of the Any% speedrun: Part 1: 30 Stars Part 2: 50 Stars Part 3: 65 Stars Part 4: Any% Finale My first run could be a 6:20 or a 5:35 because I can do the Sky Station Galaxy at a fast rate.
I found that beating the game all at once is TOO MUCH HOURS. It's literally impossible for me to do it. The rules seem too strict for me. If I just submit just one run with no video, all runs I submit will be terminated, even with video evidence. So there is a 0% chance I will submit my runs. I will suffer time-losses throughout.
That is correct, but I will not be able to submit it, even with video proof. Reason: I cannot learn lots of skips and glitches. The only fast part about my run will be is Sky Station Galaxy. Does single-star splits need to be uploaded to splits.io?
Hello! I have an Any% Route here! https://splits.io/7x5f
Defeat King Kaliente in Bowser Jr.'s Lava Reactor and unlock the Garden. (46-98 Stars)
On the leaderboard, I found that some players on Any%, 120 Star and 242 Star did not use video. Maybe the time was 2 hours 55 minutes or slower on the Any% route, 6 and half hours on 120 Stars and 242 Stars in 13 and a half hours or slower.
How fast do your runs need to be to use video proof? (before runs needed video evidence)
