Good job now go watch the no traces runs. It's all naked gameplay. As for the categories there's no sense in taking any off the IL. It's not at all over whelming or bloated. Perfect amount in my opinion. Gives plenty of fun ways to play it.
As long as it doesn't bug or alter any gaming mechanics it should be ok. I'm in favor of leaving it vanilla but other mods seem to be ok with it.
I may be running this myself. I plan on splitting at first site of the credits. Seems more fair to determine.

He starts in a fixed position behind a tree. The runners seem to go into first person to shoot and it appears to be automatically aimed to the head. Not the case for me.
How exactly does the auto aim head shot work? I've been practicing the first one at Rassvet. I hold L1 and square, then when Snake starts to raise the gun I hold R1 as well. Seems I still need to tap the aim up just a tad. Is that right or am I doing something wrong?
It's allowed. You'll just have to do the run in Offline Mode. Don't think online is required for carry over soldiers or Definitive Experience's DLC Mother Base Soldiers. Not 100% positive though.
Just a quick note on what was discussed and changed as a result of my suggestions.
Leaderboards have been split into PC and Console due to the differences being too difficult to determine. The faster the runs the more complex I found it to time properly. In doing this we hope to bring encouragement to new and old runners who have visited but opted out due to it being a "pain" to time. This mostly applies to Individual Level times. The only instance you should use custom timing is if a Phantom Cigar was used to skip time. If that is the case the timing is as follows:
Leaving the mission area on land- First frame of camera change.
Leaving the mission area on chopper- When the chopper door closes.
Leaving the mission area on a materials crate- When the first frame for the fulton prompt disappears.
Leaving the mission area by box- First frame into black.
As for missions with cuts scene(s) where you use the Phantom Cigar just simply cut the time between scenes.
Missions with cut scenes- First frame into black/First frame of camera change - first frame from black.
In the near future I will make a thread with more in depth timing for each and every individual level and full game categories.
I have also added that offline mode be a qualification from here on out for these full game categories:
Any% First Ending
First Ending, Perfect Stealth, No Kills
All Missions S-Rank
All Missions
The reason for this is because of FOB Event weapons. If you developed them before starting a new game run then they are available at first mission sortie when online.
I am honestly undecided with 100% runs because I am uncertain if it is needed to complete that run. I will discuss this with other moderators.
As for the helicopter skip glitches in older versions of the game I will be discussing with moderators on how to handle this. One has already been beaten on PC without the glitch but not on the console yet where the run was preformed.
Lastly, I will be resubmitting everyone's times based on the platform they were preformed on. This takes time and your patients is appreciated. So don't worry about your times! They are safe! ;)

Ok, here's the latest. I'm running Biohazard 2 sourcenext. I updated the bioexe file. I can boot the game in full screen and it displays everything. The only issue at hand now is slow down when going into the inventory menu. I tried many so called solutions such as playing something on repeat in windows media player. I heard reinstalling it again and again can fix it but I never tried. I know game time goes off frames but I rather have a smooth gameplay experience. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I'm more than happy to try them out. I'm running on a HP Stream Laptop Windows 10 64bit. As for the Dpad mapping with joytokey I'm using a PS4 controller and using DS4Windows so my PC can even recognize it. When I try to map the Dpad it just doesn't regonize it. For some reason the left analog is set to move the character. Can this game be played with a PS3 controller? I've tried and it just doesn't seem to work.
Edit: It's so hard to do the fast shots using the analog stick and that's why it's important for me to use the Dpad.

EDIT: Does everyone use the sourcenext version? I downloaded joytokey and mapped the buttons but when I boot the game it want respond to the button inputs.
EDIT: OK. Solved everything. The only issue now is that I can't map the d-pad to the up, down, left and right keys.
I'm having an issue and playing on Windows 10. When I go to configure the controls in game option the models seem to have multiple little red blocks running through them like white noise on a tv. Is this just normal in this menu? Also does anyone know how to set up a PS3 controller to play this game?
@azertyxpp if you can upload videos of No Traces runs then they will most likely add it for the leaderboards. If can be the closest thing to score attack.
I believe the closest we will get to a score attack leaderboard is No Traces category. When I submit my No Traces runs on TPP then I believe the agreement was we would make that a category. Having multiple submissions could get it up faster. Would you be interested in No Trace speedruns on TPP Azertyxpp?
Seems the moderators don't moderate this game anymore. Sad. I was thinking about running some ILs.
I Agree. No Traces should definitely have a tab of its own.
Edit: The thing is though, not every mission has a No Traces Bonus. But I believe there is enough missions for it.
Do we go by these standards on timing when submitting runs?
