For safety reasons, yes. 12 and under get in for free, but those under 16 will need a parent/legal guardian.
As for age limits, all ages can come to this event.
Green is not a creative colour.
What games are we allowing? What games we really don't want to see? What's the past of SRX?
These questions and more, here.
I didn't know I could do that. Ha.
I'll get on that the next couple days. I'm sure that would help the mods out a lot, as well. =^_^=

I have been informed that some of our Twitch messages have been sent to some "spam" folders in your twitch message. If you have not seen a Twitch message from SRX, please check there. If you do not have a message from SRX, please contact us.
¤¤¤¤NEWS (8/11/2015) - If you're a runner for SRX Fall (second round cuts can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1feJTZublPP-JxmJi1gbxSm0FdiUaCdppSSKko4nXyuc/edit#gid=1641501624), we will be using Discord for private runner chats, commentary, runner discussion during marathon, general chat, etc etc. If you're not aware of Discord, it's very to Skype/Mumble, but runs off of your internet browser to create less bandwidth issues. Since we will be using this, please send us a private message on Twitch (Twitch.TV/speedrunningexpo) to confirm your twitch name. From there, we will give you the link to access the Discord chat.¤¤¤¤
Submissions now CLOSED. Thank you all for submitting your awesome runs! We had over 100 submissions! WOW!
Just an update: We'll be doing a "talk show" based stream on Friday at 9PM EST talk about the games we're looking forward too at SRX Fall, SGDQ, highlights of EVO, and so much more.
If you wanna know what the staff is like running SRX, come tune in! Twitch.TV/Speedrunningexpo
For right now, yeah. I don't really have much information right now. I was just trying to see if we had enough people to do a one or two day marathon of Star Wars runs.
Team ECS is proud to announce the next event we’ve all been promising you, The Speedrunning eXpo! This time, for SRX fall, the marathon will be held online! That’s right - No venues, no hotel fees, no worries about driving 10+ hours to hang out with your favorite speedrunners this time. You can easily chill all weekend long with us, from the comfort of your couch! ...or chair, or standing, or sitting on your pet Doberman. I guess it really depends on how you speedrun games.
Nevertheless, submissions for the games you run are now open! You can submit your run by clicking here: [SUBMISSIONS CLOSED AS OF 8/1/15]
Every run will be reviewed and considered, regardless of skill level. First time in a marathon? Now’s your chance, dude. This could be your big break. We’ve already gotten nearly 2 days worth of content so far, and we at Team ECS cannot wait to have a blast with all of you wonderful people. SRX fall will be held September 25-27, 2015 on twitch.TV/speedrunningexpo. Dates/schedules are subject to extend to the 28th depending on submissions.
So, I'm thinking about doing an online speedrunning marathon dedicated to only Star Wars games the weekend before Star Wars Episode VII comes out in American theaters. Right now, I'd like to do December 12-13, with the 11th open as well if we get enough runners. After that, I'd like to move the event to the weekend following May 4th.
Everything is still kind of up in the air right now, just trying to scope who all would be interested in participating in games and/or helping everything behind the scenes.
Anyone else do this catagory? As far as what I've seen, no one else even runs the game anymore, much less NG+.
Since I can't find any actual record of that catagory, I'm interested if anyone else is interested and/or knows any current runners.
I'd love to confirm my WR. HA.
I've been trying to find the community since I started running it. I've seen youtube videos all around, and it's how I found out about the pipe warps in the original XBOX game.
I'm using that route for SRX in a couple weeks.
I loved that game in college, but it was just collecting dust since I got the 360. Around October, I pulled it out and started running it.
HAI!!! =^_^=
Sup, everyone? Name's Midnight Vesper, a kind of newbie for speedrunning. Really, I've been speedrunning for a little over six months now, with being a replacement runner for a small marathon (ECSM) as my real "start" to speedrunning.
Right now, I only run three obscure games: The Bouncer (PS2), Advent Rising (XBOX), and Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest (SNES...oddly enough, that game has really grown recently). I plan on running some Metroid and Bayonetta after SRX next month.
Speaking of SRX, I'm actually "The voice" and audio guy for SRX. So, if anything gets messed up audio wise, I'm the guy you should yell at ;-)
Hope to meet all of you guys in the next coming months, and hope to "see" you at SRX next month (and by see, I obviously mean chat with on Twitch).
