Hello. Stair skating can only be done with tank controls. The analog skating you mention is banned in regular runs and only legal in DS runs and can only be done on a PS4 controller via input mapper as far as I know. Tank controls (dpad) is used a lot more than alt controls. I recommend just practicing switching between the two as fast as you can. It will take time to get used to and the same can be said for stair skating. Welcome to the community and be sure to ask questions if you need help!

Hello Sephjul. Yes. It's a 3rd party program/mod or whatever term people use. It was voted to be brought back in a while ago. I'm fairly certain most mods and most of the community would see no reason to delete them.

I also disagree with making the DS boards the first thing people see. Vanilla boards should always be first as they don’t have a 3rd party tool affecting the game. It takes 2 seconds for people to click on the doorskip tab and the doorskip times are not as optimized as vanilla.

Another reason why they are separated is because remapping to skate with the Ps4 controllers analog is legal in DS only. I think they should remain separated, but if for whatever reason the majority of this community wants DS to be merged, then it is what it is. Remapping controls must be banned completely though.

Hold the analog stick to the upper right as you're about to regain control of Jill. Black Tiger will either go for the slam, quick poison or charge poison. Optimal is slam so you can shoot her and the webs at the same time. If she lunges, you will have to practice dodging her and getting back to your original position and pump cancel with the launcher. Black Tiger is all luck though.

Hello Duders. I'm not against adding a NG+ 100% category if people are interested. My fear is that it will be an empty board since 100% has few runners. That being said, Roo and some other people should chime in and see if we can get this added for you.

Yeah. You lost me when you said Easy doesn't have an end time. Timing RTA for a category that will likely be dead in an already dead game doesnt make sense to me. If it had IGT like all other categories, you would have my vote.

I personally don't see an issue with adding an Easy board. That will be up to the mods though. I also don't see how this is being seen as "elitist arguing." Liv is bringing up valid points.

I personally prefer Roo's original idea (HD console, PC, PC doorskip, SD console and GCN emulator. I thought this was going to be a cluster fuck at first, but after viewing Roo's idea, I'm with it.
