Rhineland-Palatinate, GermanyYo, maybe some of you know the problem. I use a Game Capture HD and would like to record PS1 games on my PS2. Thing is, it doesnt work. On my PS1 I can record without problems. I know it has something to do with PS1's native resolutions on PS2 which the capture card somehow doesn't handle. Now my question is, how do I fix it? I've read about some converters and upscalers which might help but I'd like to know how you guys deal with it.

For me it's actually Enter The Dragonfly as well. Even though I didn't do any real runs of it yet, I still hate the game lol. Controls, graphics, gameplay are awful. It's just that it sounds fun to make a 1 minute run haha.
In Sly 1 there's a rare bug where in the final boss fight the game kills you for no reason. Frustrating.
Welcome to the Speedfam. If you need informations on specific games such as glitches, skips or versions, you can check out the game's forums and YouTube. What also helped me a lot is asking experienced runners on Twitter about glitches I still had problems with.

That's not always a bad thing. If there's really no run, go get yourself a free WR! I'm sure people will try to beat you earlier or later.
I made a run over 3 hours and honestly it's not fun. Games under 1h are great but above it's a torture for me.
Make sure I feel comfortable, go pee, drink something, set my laptop up with my console and get started :)
Not an item duplication glitch but some platform skipping glitches etc. are possible in both Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus.
That's mostly because the second game is made with recycled code from the first one. I'm pretty sure that's also the case with many other games.

I'm looking for a pretty cheap yet good mic (below 50€). I know for this price you cannot expect supreme quality but I honestly also don't do that. I just want a decent mic which doesn't sound like a squeeker in GTA Online. Also no background sounds haha.

Sly 1, Bentley skip. It's a trick to skip a whole level. The Bentley skip is in one of the last levels, unfortunately this skip is incredibly dangerous and rng based. If you fail it, you lose your whole perfect run. I'm afraid of that one. Really afraid. Many runs were killed at this point, RIP.
