I try to get on here pretty regularly, but my computer was being worked on today. They have now been verified. :)
Sorry, I did not see that those had been completed. I saw gray and just assumed. I don't know if it's possible to verify a previously rejected run, but if you re-submit it, I'll verify it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
EDIT: Apparently Mistakes updated the rules, so never mind.
To clarify, I'd be fine if I wasn't moderating, as long as he fixes certain things. But it doesn't look like he checks the forum.
On Fireboy and Watergirl, I would like to run the game, but there is only one mode and no rules defined. I have posted on the forum for the game and sent him a PM on Twitch requesting to be moderator, but with no response.
A topic to help others find good strategies for the various Target Smash stages.
My typical route for Stage 1: Stage 2: Stage 3 really varies depending on the character.
Some character specifics: Sora on Stage 1: I start with his down special which takes out the targets labeled 1 and 2. (Got me my PB.) Pikachu on Stage 2: I use the neutral special at the targets 1 and 3, while hitting #2 with a physical attack. (How I managed to get sub-20.)
If someone else wants to help, I would like tips for Fox, Chibi-Robo, and Black Mage. Maybe not bad characters, but I have issues making them work for Target Smash.
Oh. Wow. Yeah, I watched the WR and it's pretty fast, although it looked like there were some places he could have saved time by going into pipes the first time he landed on them.
I was unaware of any framerate difference. Is it significant? I was talking about in terms of levels, mechanics and graphics.
Well, I sent him a PM on Twitch and he hasn't replied yet, but you're one of the people I requested he add as a mod.
What about Super Mario Bros., one of the most remade games of all time? Except for Super Mario All-Stars and possibly Super Mario Advance, all of them are exact copies.
Dagpetter1 and I would like to be added as mods for New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U. There's only one mod for those games, and he doesn't seem to be listening to the requests in the forum. If someone could add us please, we can begin making some of the requested changes.
Well, it was popular for a while, but Nintendo shut it down. It is still available via GitHub and apparently even the Chrome Web Store.
It uses the same levels as SMB1, but it also has a level editor and a random level generator. It isn't technically a hack or mod, because it was coded from scratch by a fan.
Could someone send ewaller a message requesting this and moderatorship for myself and dagpetter1? I would, but I don't have accounts on any of the sites he's on. It looks like of the four he has listed, he's most active on twitch, so if possible, that would probably be the ideal place to contact him. Too bad speedrun.com doesn't have PM's.
The only versions of SMB I have are that and WiiUVC, and I don't have a capture card. I suppose, though, if screenshots are allowed, I may be able to submit a run that way. (I mostly just do ILs.)
Okay, I requested a game called Full Screen Mario, which is an HTML5 fan remake of Super Mario Bros., but was rejected because it was too similar. Could it be accepted as an emulator or added as a category?
I would say, ask the other mods if they can delete you, otherwise go here: http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7/39
Current mod has been online some, but hasn't posted a run on either this or New Super Luigi U in 1+ year. If he's officially offline for long enough (3 weeks), we can apply for moderatorship here: http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7/38
I would still suggest adding individual levels. I don't want to create another speedrunning website account just for one game.
