New Category?

I've been doing a lot of research into how to most quickly and most easily get all the achievements, and I think it is possible to get all Steam achievements in a single play session. I have yet to actually do a run, but I am willing to do so to prove it possible once I have perfected all the strats. Therefore, I propose a new category, All Achievements. The hardest part of this achievement will definitely be unlocking items, since I am rather confused on how the new blueprint system works (I just started playing again after quitting for a year) so I need to do some tests on the achievements that require unlocking certain items, but I think this could be an interesting and very high difficulty run. I'm not sure what the protocol for this game is to create a new category, but if you want an example run before creating the cateogry, just let me know.

Thanks!

I've honestly thought about it. I think on console it'd be easiest since you don't have to buy the game. Though ones such as Swap Meet, Barras Bravas, Together is Better, People Person, Squad Goals (completely RNG btw), and Best of the Bunch (also maybe Certifiable/One Better) will be a bit tough considering they require online play (and a friend).

On xbox, there are 77 achievements vs the 88 on PC/PS4, and switch doesn't have an achievement system. Depending on what platform you do determines your route, etc. You'll always have to have a friend, unfortunately.

If you can get a route down and do an entire run, I'm more than happy to not only add it, but run it myself.

Let me know your thoughts and such! Might have to make a category for Offline Only and research what's doable offline.

Yeah, I've been doing a lot of thinking about it. I would definitely do it with a friend, and I play it on Steam so I would be doing those achievements. I think I've found a way to effectively reset progress in terms of achievements, but alternatively we could just keep track of if the achievements would have been unlocked, if they didn't have the achievement yet. I have no estimate as of yet, but given that it is guaranteed to take 30+ games, I see it taking at minimum 2.5 to 4 hours. I have started plans here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MhXGC3Ns4AXB9ijzC_hUZdkx3kUfqdnAk9TnJH7uDow/edit?usp=sharing

I have no idea if I'll be able to pull it off, but I am willing to give it a go! I'll keep you posted, and if you have any tips or tricks let me know!

I would like it if your very first run could include 0/88 achievements done, ending with all 88.

I included the discord server link (finally lmao) on the left panel for the speedrunning discord for RL which is currently kinda dead, but I'm sure more people can join eventually haha.

(here it is in case you don't wanna look for it https://discord.gg/EdrMQQD )

I also added things in your doc

I have finally added the category, and also congratulations on (probably) being the only person to get all 88 on a fresh account haha
