Seeing as 100% is now officially a thing I want to open a discussion about the way to go about it. I've sat down for a bit and tried to come up with the most optimal route for the run. Here's the gist of it:

Practice Stars Bronze Cup -> Aquasonic Bronze Cup /w Aquasonic Practice Stars Silver Cup -> R6 Turbo Silver Cup /w R6 Turbo Gold Cup /w R6 Turbo -> Adeon Platinum Cup Races /w Adeon -> Panga Platinum Cup Practice Stars /w Panga -> Toyeca Platinum Cup /w Toyeca Remaining sinlge races + practice stars /w Toyeca Time trials x3 (N,R,M) /wToyeca Stunt Arena /w Panga + Toyeca (I'm unable to get the star on the arch of the halfpipe with Panga lul)

The main goal of this route is to get the best cars available at each stage of the game as early as possible. Stunt arena and time trials are interchangable. I have also completed my first run of this category (it's pretty terrible so I won't upload it) but here are the splits. https://splits.io/zb2

The run took me 2:21.00 to complete. I think low 2:00:00 is possible, not too sure about the sub yet. Got any suggestions? Let us discuss how we can push the category.

My first attempts I used a very simple route, which is probably not the fastest as I didn't get the best cars in the beginning. I just started with my all cups route and then: All Practice Stars /w Cougar All Time Trials /w Toyeca Stunt Arena /w Panga + Toyeca (had the same problem lel) The run was about a 2.10.00, still with mistakes.

I would say that your routing is pretty decent, especially with getting Toyeca early on to use for the platinum cup. For this route I have to get more comfortable with the R6 Turbo, and learn the platinum cup practice stars with the Panga.

For my run I probably will stick /w RC San for Silver and Gold Cup for now and come back for the practice stars

I did some practice this morning, and the R6 Turbo is way faster than RC San. Then I did a full run with your strats Delecto, and I had a very consistent run. I think that this is probably the fastest route already, at the moment unless you can get Zipper, but I can't get the practice star at Toytanic 1 and Museum 1 with the cars at that moment.

And about the sub 2 hours... It is possible ;)

Sounds good. But it seems like I still have some catching up to do when it comes to skill. :D Zipper would be good indeed but not being able to get it is why I skipped straight to Panga -> Toyeca. I tried to use Bertha instead of R6 but I don't think it's faster. It could be safer though seeing as Bertha has a lot more weight and is less bouncy/jumpy in general.

I know this comes pretty late but you actually can get Zipper right after unlocking Platinum Cup. Pest Control can collect both the stars in Toytanic 1 and Musem 1. I have no idea if Zipper would save alot of time seeing as you would trade Adeon's stability and top notch acceleration for Zipper's minorly increased top speed. With this we could have two routes for 100% depending on which car you prefer/which car turns out to be faster.

Edit: Pest Control could be the real MVP because you can just skip Zipper alltogether and get access to Toyeca with Pest Control unlocked. The setups for the stars are a bit specific but all the Platinum Cup stars are doable for Pest Control meaning you can save one instance of menuing by skipping [Platinum Cup Races /w Adeon -> Panga] early on and doing everything with Toyeca lategame instead.
