Quick Slide Glitch (QSG) is when you have normal running speed while in shell, since normal shell speed is about 8% slower than normal running speed out of shell. To get this trick you need to have close to running speed (in some cases not, which I will explain) then do these inputs on the DPad at the edge of a platform (assuming you're running to the right): Push down while holding right (basically Down+Right) Roll your thumb to left while in the air (from down right, to down, to down left, to just left and hold that) From there you can hold any direction on the DPad and still keep QSG speed.
Holding left gives you higher acceleration. In fact, this acceleration is faster acceleration compared to just running. This can be used for 3-1 in Cannonless to skip fireworks easier™.
