Am I allowed to record like this?
So my pc isn't very good and it won't take on a screen recorder while running the game, am I allowed to record my run with and external camera?

Yep, as long as we can see everything clearly then it's fine. Make sure that we can actually clearly see the corners of the screen as there is information necessary for verification there. See the overlay rules imgur album
