In my opinion only ePSXe 1.9+ should be allowed as 1.7/1.8 still have many of the inaccuracies found in other less accurate emulators.

PAL is slower, PAL has slightly higher jumps and some very minor differences. Proxies are much harder on PAL according to most people. Use NTSC if at all possible, if you don't have the console emulate it. The game just runs a bit slower on PAL and it has slower load times.

Cba writing a novel right now, but I just want to give Gyostage feedback about the security. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever! I can come in with 2 huge bags of stuff and they are not looking at them at ALL, instead the onion in my pocket is extremely interesting and I just have to reveal it. Some of the security guards definitely just did stuff because they felt like they have the power which made me very unhappy. Also did we even have showers to use anywhere?

This kind of stuff is ABSOLUTELY not needed in a LAN party, people will come in with huge amounts of stuff and whether you want it or not, there is nothing you can do about it. So please change this policy.

Other than that, Finnruns was great. I would have liked some HDMI monitors to practice with (not all consoles can use CRT televisions you know). The delays and so on were unfortunate but that's life.

Last Finnruns was completely in Finnish. I believe the people coming from other countries will do English tho lol

My Spyro 3 any% run (why did you pick this category over 100 egg fml LOL) might have to be moved a bit, I have some overlapping with school schedules. Will keep you informed once I figure it out.

EDIT: If you want to be EXTREMELY safe, you can already move my Spyro 3 any% run to Sunday. This will cause me no harm and will make it so I will surely be there for my run.

Also if there are any cancellations that the schedule would allow, I am a much better player in 100 egg than any%. Just throwing that out there.

EDIT2: I got everything sorted out now pretty much, I will arrive at Kuopio 20:48 in Friday, this is the earliest I can make so Spyro 3 any% definitely needs to be moved.

Try OBS. My old computer couldn't handle any other program but OBS worked just fine. If it doesn't work you're probably out of luck.

I was the sole runner of this game for months (I started like the day the game came out l o l) and I pretty much had to make the categories from scratch as they are all arbitrary in definition and the game has no clear end state because no credits and shit.

Do you have any opinions on the categories and rulings etc. ? I was thinking that maybe All Panties should end on unlocking Alpha Mode instead but I think that would just add boring, unnecessary menuing and the game is kind of a meme anyways so I didn't do that.

I used Win XP for my draw three run but apparently the "rules" for draw three don't allow XP anymore, I'm just really confused why (I didn't use any exploits/glitches btw). The top runs are ridiculously fast tho, but they also definitely use some older versions of Solitaire. I don't even know why I care about this tho, just wanted my meme pb up there

This was the way I beat the game as a kid, I don't speedrun this category yet, but this is a legit way to beat the game 100%. You will have a 100% save file if you save the game, which is essentially what the run is supposed to go for. Ending at Ripto might "feel" better but there is no other reason to do it, also forcing a route is bad and people can finish at Ripto or do it earlier as they please.
