with the original 1.00d version of the arcade being found and preserved earlier this year, i had a strong feeling that the tunnel boost from console was on arcade also, but patched out in the update to 1.01b. i was right. luckily, downgrading to 1.00d is easy, if you own a cabinet, that is the longest lasting record in hydro thunder history, which was on this track in the arcade version, has fallen after over 24 years, thanks to saving 1.00d from the brink of extinction
