TAS ? What's that ?

I see so many vidéos about TAS, so i've been wondering. What's exactly a TAS ? I know it's an emulator where you can press a key to save at certain points and then run it again from there, so then you can let the game play, yeah ? so i tried to search on the internet to download one and didn't find anything... even on their website, tas-videos.org, on the download section, it seems like they only give advices

So my question is : Where can i find an emulator on wich i can use TAS for speedrunning ?

Thank's a lot everyone !

A TAS is a sequence of inputs loaded in an emulator in order to complete a goal in a video game with the lowest time of completion. This sequence of inputs is written by humans or rarely by scripts, with some useful tools such as Frame Advance that allows to navigate frame per frame in the dimension of time, or RAM Watch that allows to watch the content of the memory. Thankfully, this sequence doesn't have to be single-segment and you can segment your work as often as you'ld like.
