@PreFiXAUT, Thanks, man! I'll try these steps.
@Jaggerfroid65, Livesplits crashes all the time here. I don't know, I think Windows Vista goes well with Llanfair only =p
WHO USES VISTA??
Also some game's regions are not runnable, so you gotta take that into consideration as well
I used to play lots of GTA Online and Battlefield, but now I stopped playing casually almost entirely
Seems to be caused by the emulation dropdown. Since you checked "Emulation" you need to choose an emulator. But as you can't choose one, the required field stays empty. Contact the game mods and let them know about the empty emulator dropdown
Why can't you do that with the Elgato? Is there something special about running PS1 games on PS2? I've used mine to capture/stream actual PS2 games just fine.
When starting a PS1 game on my PS2, the Elgato only records the bootscreen. After that it's all black when launching the PS1 game. Seems to be a resolution issue. You can fix that with some upscalers or converters as far as I know, but I'm not willing to pay for these, since they're quite pricy
Ayo fellow people. I decided to get rid of my Elgato soon since it's just too buggy. Sometimes I need 30 minutes to get it running. Before the Elgato I tried the Avermedia LGP, but for whatever reason it didn't record my PS2 games smoothly.
Need some recommendations for a good capture card that can record PS1 games on PS2 (can't do that on Elgato) and preferably HD support as well. Below 150€ please.
Thanks in advance.
My upload is a bit lacking, but I can't afford any better ^^
Unitymedia is known for having good download but awful upload speeds as far as I'm aware.
Honestly why deny it? It's called ANY%. That means you have to finish the game with whatever progress you'd like to finish it. If he thinks finishing the game with 100% is the fastest in any% category, so it shall be.
I used this app in a mobile speedrun once: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.jentsch.floatingstopwatch&hl=en It's quite good. For your future runs of course though
If I remember right, slidejumps are bugged on NTSC and NTSC also crashes in various situations where PAL wouldn't
SDA is flawed in that its run submission process is simply too long. A friend of mine submitted a Resident Evil run on there a while ago. Now he's already beaten that time, and the run he submitted is still in the verification process months later.
SDA is a place where there's a lot of vets and long-time speedrunners, but the actual archives themselves are massively outdated and fairly redundant nowadays because of that.
.
Dude I submitted a run once on SDA and it took about ONE BLOODY YEAR to verify
OBS is pretty much THE recording and streaming program, but it uses lots of resources which may cause problems if you're on a not so powerful PC (like me :P)
SDA is pretty complicated (at least for me). Don't really like it. Speedrun.com is my home

It's okay. We had horrible speed before
Depends on how active the mods are. Sometimes it takes under an hour and sometimes days or weeks. You can try contacting the mods and letting them know that a run has to be verified
I run for a mix of everything. The replay value, competition, thrill to perfection and to climb the WR ladder
Emulators are banned for most PS2 games. Make sure you ask the game community if it's allowed to run on emulators
I use Adblock, but disabled it for this site because it deserves it
