[32:51.00] This is an absolutely massive improvement from my other completed run from the other night. I need to specifically thank Tyler_MOTU for graciously joining my Discord server in order to give me some much-needed tips. His advice not only helped me perform the wall jumps more consistently, but also demystified the glide exploit using the select button. I did end up using it as a substitute for some of the wall jumps that were giving me issues.

There's definitely a lot of work yet to be done here; my early-game was okay, but I kinda dropped the ball on the last handful of levels (I got super reset-heavy on these attempts and rarely made it to end-game). Woolieville Horror and the beginning of the Final Stretch in particular were weak, although I did manage the Bright Light glide skip on the first try which was a highlight. Despite its flaws, this is a run I can actually be proud of for the time being.

I ran the game on the Beetle PSX HW core (0.9.44.1) through Retroarch 1.8.9. Settings that would alter game's speed or load times, such as CPU clock and disc speed/access, were left on their native, console-like defaults. The only change I personally made was to increase the output resolution to 4x for higher fidelity visuals. I scroll through the entire settings page in RetroArch at the end of the video for proof.

A Reminder Of The Rules

I've had to reject 2 runs today, of which were decent to not that bad, because of one rule being broken: Not Informing Us Of Emulator Used. This has been the most common failure on submissions for runs infact, so i just want to reiterate for anyone who wants to run this game:
