What I did was simple:

1. Use Sugar Rush to go fast
2. Use (what I like to call) the launch glitch.

This glitch I found out myself where selecting a cake that is on a conveyor and going airborne at the same time will cause you to fly away from the cake selected. I used this to go towards the purple brick faster along with sugar rush for big speed.
