Hi there, I'm looking for some tips and tricks regarding RNG manipulation or other general tips past tarantula. I've seen the two guides on here but they are quite general and a little vague to me. Google search yields nothing new other than videos of other runs. Looking for any resources anyone has including if there are other RPG's I could look at to learn some of the RNG manipulation mechanics. I am still pretty new to speed running and would love to run Lufia 2 since it is by far the RPG I've finished the most.

Also if there are different things I should be prepared for in running an RPG that would be great too since so far I've only tried out platformers where I can abuse save states to practice certain levels and sections.

For Lufia 2, you are better off asking on the forums of the game. However, I do notice a lack of responses of the mods there. There are mods that have logged in recently, why not try contacting them on one of their social media with questions about Lufia 2. I believe RNG manipulation is unique for each game, so I doubt that will be useful for you.

I myself do not run RPG's, since I prefer short runs. I do enjoy watching them from time to time, and prefer to play them casually.
