I've been quietly watching speed-run stuff for a long time now and thought maybe I should try getting involved with this community and just trying to be a more social gamer, might be fun?

Seeing Digimon World at AGDQ was really cool and I've always liked seeing ps1 RPG games ran through and I might start there, currently watching what people are doing and learning some things....also setting up my weak PC to record stuff internally

Hi there, welcome to the community, I'm Lance! I think the GDQ marathons are great. They bring so many more people than I thought. But as Racingmonster said try the Speedrunning and Talk forums. It's a great way to get to know people but if you want to have a decent conversation I would suggest trying to contact the specific person through some sort of messaging. Enjoy your say though ^.^
