Question about adding a game

I submitted a run for a game that doesn't have a page setup already. When I submitted it, it said it it wasn't looked at after so long, that it should be brought up.

Me, being a dingus, forgot not only how long you're supposed to wait, but forgot who I'm supposed to bring it up to as well. Oops. Anyone know the answers?

Games usually take 2-3 weeks to get approved/added, kirkq is the only one that can add them and he tries to get dive into the queue of them once a week. A lot of games get submitted so it can take some time (especially if kirkq is busy IRL and can't log on here frequently).

I hope this doesn't come across as bad mannered or ungrateful, but why exactly does it take so long? (He has a real life, he's busy, bla bla bla). Sure. But what exactly needs to be checked on a game submission? That the game is genuine, that the run that's been submitted of the game is likewise existent. Seems like if you're excruciatingly thorough, that might take all of 10 minutes to do per game. I'm sure I'm missing something, so I'm curious to know what it is.

I don't know the full story by any means, but it's not just approving games. The same guy has to go through and handle many other things on SRC, including moderation requests which look like a huge drag, adding and changing platforms, babysitting angsty speedrunners, changing account names and deleting accounts...

Seriously, kirkq really needs help with all this stuff!
