From a few days ago, I submitted a new game to Speedrun.com, and I know that it can take a few days.

So I would just ask you guys, if you knew what the average waiting time was? Have you ever submitted some games, and how long time did it take to get accepted?

kirkq makes his rounds about once a week, though it can take longer if he's busy IRL. He added some about 2 days ago so it'll be a few days before it gets approved.

Bonus: I first misread his question, so I crunched how long it takes for a run to be approved.

50% of runs get approved within 5 hours 80% of runs get approved within 24 hours 92% of runs get approved within 1 week (at this point you should try contacting the mod(s)) 95% of runs get approved within 3 weeks (at this point if you haven't had any response, ask to moderate the game yourself)

This excluded anything approved in under 5 seconds, which were mostly self-approved runs.

I actually meant when you're submitting a game (Not a run), so you didn't misread anything.

out of curiosity, have you found out anything about your game yet?

Taking a look at their profile they are not mod of any games. This means no. However the person who handles the game requests is at SGDQ so waiting times are going to be until at least this saturday/sunday.

In response to the actual question, up to one week (usually) depending on the real life situation of the games moderator.
