How do you guys do em? I have to switch to a GC style controller and it can sometimes waste time to switch them.
It's literally just muscle memory. As long as you're throwing from roughly the same spot and aiming for the same bomb each time, there's nothing more to know except that you need to do it a million times.
For some reason I thought you needed to spin the stick super fast for a good throw, that's why I use a GC stick. Is the throw distance determined by the number of spins mario does or the speed of the control stick? I know the distance for Bowser 3 can be far depending on the position. I might need to aim for the right bombs XD
the distance you throw him depends on the speed, just try too rotate as fast as possible and you must be good, for bowser three you can always hit consistantly if you do this (works for me everytime if i dont miss a throw) C-Right twice and hit the bomb in front of you, then c- Left twice and hit that bomb, then the last throw is the opposite bomb from the bomb you just hitted, if i do it like this the bomb is never too far away :)
even the current wr-holder misses throws from time to time and runds die because of this...not even few, i remember times when 1-3-9 was still a dream, and i think there were 3 misses in one week, that pretended the magical mark :p so closeevery time, massive timesave before, then everything lost in final...
it defenitely depends on speed, look at 7:30, every top-runner takes 1 1/2 spins, tas does it in just 1/2
