Hello I'm interested in speedrunning both Pikmin 1 and 2, and would like to know which console would be better? I plan to use a gamecube controller but I was curious if one console had an advantage over the other? I also plan to stream in the future if that makes a difference, thanks in advance!

You're better off asking this on the Pikmin forums so people that play the game are more likely to notice.

Typically, if you're playing on a newer console with the same disc of the past, the loadtimes are usually better and it's the preferred method. I don't know if this holds true for this game whatsoever.
