Hi I wanted to submit a run for the game Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi on PC (not Nosferatu on SNES). But I realised the game isn't in the game list anymore. Is it because of the bots and I should request to add the game again? Or because an admin deleted it? And then what should I do?
If the game's not there, just request it. Games can be deleted if they haven't been set up within 2 weeks, so that might've been what happened here.
edit: Or a mod deleted it, for whatever reason. Either way, you can just request it again.
I am in charge of deleting game pages that have not been setup within 2 weeks, and honestly I don't remember the games that are on this list because there are new ones almost everyday.
As Klashik said, you can request it again. And make sure to have it set up quickly or it'll get removed again at some point.
Setting it up means mainly having ways for users to post a time. To do so, at least one category has to be configured. The rest is optional and cosmetic so it's less important.
Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi was flagged two days ago (dec. 21) for not being set up within 2 weeks, and deleted by Gyoo for that reason.
Site staff deleted about 10 games out of the 5000 existing games a few months ago. These games were generally trivially short flash games with trivial gameplay. You seem to run a lot of those for whatever reason. When we have better sorting mechanisms for games maybe we can lower the bar a bit for what games we want to feature, but until then people seem to get pretty salty seeing stuff like that on the front page.
I hope this game "Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi" will be on this site in different categories. I sent a request with my first running too.
