Added it. You could request a new series through the game request form as well. Remaking the page probably wouldn't do what you're thinking to solve the issue. A series is basically just a special game type that consists of other games.
Could the 'mod/romhack' games have a technical series similar to 'Other'? They don't appear under series at all in All Games.

These are mostly from names I could recognize.
To ROMaster2, for Alien:Isolation, the game is not at all similar to Alien vs Predator, in my opinion.
For Black Mesa, in which I am mod, the game is a remake of Half-Life 1 in the Source Engine; thus it can't really fit with Half-Life series. I think it would be more like a Half-Life 2 Mod (so Rom Hack section) however the game engine, even if similar with HL2, is a bit different ( item boosting and random crashes that annoys Maxxuss Kappa ). If Black Mesa Source was linked with HL2 Rom Hack or Half-Life series, then we would have to put http://www.speedrun.com/dearesther Dear Esther (hi S. <3 ) somewhere, the engine is kinda weird and thus it would be like totally weird. So we have three options :
- Leave things like they are currently
- Put Black Mesa Source as a HL serie, and Dear Esther in the Half-Life serie but I find this kinda confusing
- Put Black Mesa Source as a Half-Life 2 (not one because of the engine) mod (so Rom hacks) and Dear Esther as a Half-Life 2 mod too.
Well that's my opinion on how we could sort these things. Black Mesa and Dear Esther share the special status of "modificated Source Engine that looks like another version of the Source Engine but not really". They are both made from the HL2 Engine but with totally different gameplay mechanics.
ROMaster2 i stopped doing that after i was told: "Trollbear: I dislike creating new series out of two games with no moderator request and throwing a moderator over them. It's ambiguous and unclear who should be series moderator or if they would even want to be series moderator. If another site staff member wants to choose to handle those cases, that is up to them. "
So good job creating that list, it might not get handled.
The rom hacks and mods can likely be attached to existing series after the game tags update Lightnat0r has been working on (see the stickied forum thread).
I'll look through this list another day. I pretty much have to check every game to see if it makes sense in the series, and see if anyone in the series moderates multiple games. I still stand by the statement Trollbear quoted from me, it's less of an ambiguous situation to just handle them when moderators ask for them most of the time.
We generally haven't been adding web/flash games to mainline series. When the game tags update comes out, the new listings might be able to allow flash games to be attached to series without annoying a bunch of users.

MLSTRM: We're trying to push out the first round of game tags changes quite soon, which would include having games in multiple series for cases like this. It would be easier to wait a bit and add to both series than it would to dissolve the series and recreate it a short time later.
