Timing milliseconds?

Hello everyone! I've recently started running a very short game and I need to know the exact time of my run. Unfortunately, none of the video players on my PC seem to be able to display the running time of the video down to the millisecond and I don't want to rely on a manual timer. Does anyone know a program or other method that might be able to help me?

the "easy" method might be to use something like Avidemux and manually figure out the duration of your run. if the game is an executable, it should be possible to write a script for livesplit's autosplitter, which can read the game memory for certain things like game start and game end.

Depending on the game there maybe is an autosplitter, or you could create one. also every videoediting software should display miliseconds, windows movie maker as an free example.

Thank you for the suggestions! Works great in Movie Maker!
