Hey there everyone. Didn't know where to post this, so I'm just chucking it into the atmosphere and hoping someone can help.
I recently got an account for the site to keep track of the games I like to watch getting run, and I found that the emails were a bit much every time a new WR would come through for certain games so I unselected all emails and only had 'New fullgame WR in followed game' selected for notifications. This was about a week ago and I am still getting emails and notifications for things I did not want them for, such as resources and IL WR's for racing games (a very, VERY common occurance) and it's just a bit annoying. I check the site daily so I just need the notifications to pop up and say there's a new WR in a game I'm following, not countless emails about how someone got 23 IL WR's in something, that's just a pain in the rear end. I have a screenshot of my current settings so you can see why it's a problem (no emails selected, only one notification selected) and if there's something there I'm missing you can tell me straightaway so I can go back to enjoying the site.
You have settings for the individual games you follow too. You may have some email options checked in those. Tick the "Apply default to all followed games " and then press save and this should hopefully fix your problem.
