Emu runs should not obselete non-emu runs (and vice-versa)

This seems to be an issue for the game that I moderate

How can we go about this?

At the moment, you can use variables and set them not to obsolete each other, but that's the only way right now. Also, that would mean non-emu runs don't obsolete emu runs.

Good idea Klashik, however I would like to avoid using variables as it adds clutter

Any plans to address this...?

You didn't get an admin's response so highly unlikely.

The handling of all the non-generic variables isn't well optimized in the codebase, so I don't know how easy that would be. It's also kind of a strange thing to use in general, as it just gives more ways for a user to have the two fastest times.

Regions obsolete each other Platforms obsolete each other -> Emulator/Non-emulator obsolete each other.

I don't have a strong opinion on it, but other items are being worked on currently.

Thank you for your response kirkq. I appreciate your time.
