Hello guys, I'm RastaBobby, the new speedrunning mod for the Trackmania games.

As you may have noticed, all Trackmania games except Turbo were using RTA (real time with loads) as their default timing method while Turbo is using IGT (ingame time) because loading times on consoles are significantly longer than on any computer.

Many Trackmania speedrunners told me they would like to see IGT as the default timing method for all Trackmania games because RTA rankings are mostly based on loading times for short speedruns like on many Trackmania speedruns. I think most of us agree that navigating fast in a menu to change the map doesn't determine if a speedrunner is good or not and we all know that loading times are random and based on your computer performance.

That's why we've decided to put IGT at the default timing method for all Trackmania games except the TM² games to make rankings more accurate and fair.

Don't worry, all your past speedruns will remain on the website, the mods and some volunteers will calculate the IGT for all these past runs to make the new rankings.

I hope you’ll enjoy these changes and I hope we’ll see more runs on Trackmania games in the future.

New auto splitter that tracks in-game time

If you run the game on PC, you can now use a newly created auto splitter. It tracks the in-game time and splits accurately each time you finish a track. Instructions on how to set up the splitter have been posted to the forum:
