How do you revert to an old patch on a Steam game?
I know you "can't," but I also know people have done it. I've seen tons of speedruns that rely on using the unpatched or a very early patch version of the game, to make use of spectacular glitches that were later patched out. So how does that happen?
I think most of the time they just change some data in the game folders, not sure though. If you check Hyper Light Driver, you'll notice they have some old patches if you want to run on them, in the resources part.
