Hi guys, I've always liked watching speed runs of old NES games that I used to play, and decided to give it a shot starting with my favorite NES game, Double Dragon 3.

I went on Twitch the other day to do a few practice runs and was just wondering, how can I get onto the SpeedRunsLive website? I'd like to be a part of the speed running community and hopefully grow the fanbase for us all.

On SRL's FAW page, they have a section on it about half-way down:

How do I get my stream to appear on the front page of SpeedRunsLive?

Type .setstream twitch/name (in the IRC channel) to link your stream to SRL, if you have not done so already. Your stream will appear on the Streams page of the site after 1 hour of racing. You may not appear immediately, as our system checks at specific times throughout the day. You will need to visit the website while logged in once per month to stay on. Alternatively you can join the #speedrunslive channel on IRC while identified at least once a month.

I've done that, but do I need to do 1 hour of racing, or just 1 hour of speed running? I'm not sure there's anyone else running my game.

One hour of racing. If nobody is running your game, you can always do the SRL "Get yourself speedrunning" newbie races they have going for the next 3 weeks. I'm in the same situation where nobody is currently running my game, so I can't get onto the site, but there's ways around it. Best of luck getting the streaming to show up thought :)
