Hi, I'm pretty new to speedrunning, I've been doing tricks in Portal and I did my first run today. I've been running for about a year now, but I'm still pretty bad. I just had a few questions, so first: How do I submit a run? Second: Is there any way people can talk 1 on 1 about a game or something, because I'd like to share my ideas and thoughts on some of the early chambers, and also get to know some people around these parts. Hello. The way you submit a run is to go to the game/category you want and click on submit run. Then put the video of your run in the "video link" section, and fill in the rest of the corresponding information. For connecting with the community, there are many different ways to do that. One is by posting a topic on the forums https://www.speedrun.com/Portal/forum . Another may be connecting with a member of the Portal community on Discord, or by joining the Portal Discord, alhough I'm not sure if there is one. Hopefully this helps!
