I currently am running SMB1 any%, with my previous PB at 6:43 (i know that's bad), before I recorded only the emulator but now I started recording also the splits, today I got a great improv on my PB of about 30 secs (getting a 6:15/16) but I discovered, after it was all done, that OBS screwed up the size of the game window in the recording, making it bigger and only recording the central/up part, and not the bottom, making it impossible to see the floor and other parts of the gameplay, while the splits are completly visible, should I still try to upload the run or do I try to do it again making sure I adjust the settings correctly?
you dont need a video for runs until you you get a time under 5:21.
You really need video only for 5:20 or faster. If you get 5:30 or faster video or input movie also can help you, but we all bealive you, if you get longer time
No need to record if your time is still above 6 minutes. If it's around the 5:20 mark, it will need to be recorded.
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
