Record History?

Would be cool if there was a way to view the record history for each game/category, similar to obsolete runs.

I agree; Lighnat0r said this when I asked him:
Yeah, statistics like that are nice additions, I'd like to get to them after the following update but there might be some other things that need to get priority.
http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/g79jt/17#k0pdb

^ This is still pretty much the case. The 'problem' with statistics are that they're always nice to have, but never unmissable. As such the chance of them being pushed back by other things is fairly big, it's more 'I feel like working on statistics' than 'statistics should really be added now' that will determine when they'll happen.

I do want to point out that the API already supports getting a leaderboard at a certain date. Obviously the data isn't formatted for nice manual viewing like that, but if someone with some coding knowledge has too much free time and wants to have a record history, the API is ready to allow them to code that.

I actually implemented that through the API a while ago. If someone wants to have the code or wants me to write out the history for a certain game, just tell me.

Looks like someone implemented it: http://www.speedrunstats.com/

Oh fcking lord, I love that

A Disadvantage to an autogenerated site like that is that you can't really input records from before the creation of the leaderboard.
A Disadvantage to an autogenerated site like that is that you can't really input records from before the creation of the leaderboard.
runners should submit their old WRs run to the leaderboard (or leaderboard mod can)
