Why is the only option to submit for platform n64 only? I run on both platforms wiivc emulator... and N64. i havnt noticed much of a diffrence between the two

The game was never released officially outside of the original N64 releases.

At the moment, we only accept runs from official releases. As a result, we only accept runs on the N64.

is there any plans to open it to emulation on the wii. providing that rules are set in place to prevent issues among the leader board and speedrunnng community. I would love to lend a hand if need be

We do not have plans to allow emulations on wii or any other non official emulator as N64 games are very often not accuratly emulated, especialy when lag is involve which you can find plenty in rush games. Also with roms and wii injects, it is fairly easy to hack these games and modify data to create small advantages that can be very hard to see. So because of these issue, it is most likely never going to be allowed, atleasts in the current format of the leaderboard.

I'd like to submit a run, but was curious on the single tracks as to why AI must be on? There is some RNG at the very start in how the cars break apart, and once you get past that, you may as well be driving solo anyways if you're on decent pace.

I'd also like to suggest a run where you run the 8 primary tracks back to back and add up the best times, with a separate category for backwards, but that's just my 2 cents.

One last question about the circuit mode - if I have all the cars unlocked, can I use cars like formula, hotrod, and prototype?

I've never recorded a run yet, but I've got some decent times in practice. I look forward to submitting runs.

Sorry I can't count, I meant 7 primary tracks
