The main interest was that you'd get some major weapons up there for Crono/Frog/Robo, pretty early in the game. Don't believe I knew about the pause thing..! =0
Yep that idea's been explored with cheats, there's no where to progress. The original rumor I've heard is that the skip requires "16 pixel-perfect Save-Anywheres", which is why I believe it refers to the Factory thing
@Fortranm early Death Peak would be amazing, we've played around trying to find a way to climb it lol.
All Endings uses the "Back in Time" glitch, which is set up in the Factory core. If you save-anywhere many times to traverse the hall (a couple tiles at a time), you're able to skip the big doors scene. For some reason that leaves the Power switch in an unpressed state so you can return to it later (and re-fight RSeries). It's just a sloppily-made sequence, seems to be no other like it x) By the way I'm convinced this is where the "Future Skip" rumor originated, if you've happened to come across that. (A deal that no one ever had a clue about, just that a skip existed somewhere)
@Bearhead, the one major issue with CT on WiiVC is that it randomly crashes. CT has some bug regarding music/sfx loading (it crashes on SNES too but it's extremely rare). A few folks used to do runs on it. Bizhawk is considered the best choice of emulator (Cronokirby uses it) - low input lag and runs at same fps as SNES.
Yo I'd like report this guy for the general community to be aware of: http://www.speedrun.com/user/IDK-O-Ligeirinho / https://www.youtube.com/user/idklint Today he submitted a Chrono Trigger 100% run which was actually Puwexil's 3rd place run (4:41), with the timer sped up so that it'd appear to be a worse run (5:34). He's submitted to other games in the past week, including Shenmue in 8:17 (which doesn't require verification, so the mod has perhaps not seen it). These runs again have clear timer issues. It's up to the mods of those games to give those runs another look.
If this is truly a thing, and we were to break just 1 level in CC1: how about Monster Lab :>
This is what D e e R F o r C e your Lord says: "You have propped up the God of Ceres before the holy Zoast your king, and summoned the Beast from the Ocean, and now you cast your legacy unto Phantoon and the Snake. Therefore, your ritual circumambulation of Zebes shall never again bring the sunrise!!"
idk sounds like a good thing. site's looking great y'all
Just noticed game's Release Date displays as 1 day earlier than entered, e.g. 1994-12-31 instead of 1995-01-01 (full date here seems new, maybe you're working on it)
As I understand, using flashcart is identical to using original cart. I believe Puwexil does runs on SD2SNES =)
Bellingham reporting in. Something nearby would be amazing =)
Hi, may I change my name to "Redslash"? I'm really diggin' the site, thanks!
