Game Version differences

The game can be run on PS2, PS3, PS4 & PS5 (& PSVita). Each platform comes with benefits and drawbacks as listed below:

• PS2 - The most popular platform to run on, only downside is some PS2 copies cannot perform Citadel Skip (see below). It is advised to run on PS2 if you already own one.

• PS3 - The least popular platform to run on, has "punch glitch" and Citadel Skip is patched on all versions. Only run on PS3 if you have no other option.

• PS4 - Used by some runners, fast loads but lags in some areas. However on-foot movement is restricted to only 16 directions, or 8 when walking or crouch-walking. Citadel Skip is also patched on some versions (see below). Run on PS4 unless you own a PS2.

• PS5 - Largely untested, but very similar to running on PS4.

• PSVita - Just dont.

• Emulator - Not allowed for run submission on the leaderboard.

Versions that CAN perform Citadel Skip: • PS2 Black Label (1, 2, 27, and 246) • PS2 All PAL • PS4 PAL • PS5 PAL

Versions that CANNOT perform Citadel Skip: • PSVita • PS3 • PS2 Black Label (3) Greatest Hits (4 and 5) • PS2 NTSC-J • PS4 NTSC (as of the latest update) • PS5 NTSC (as of the latest update)

Recording/Streaming Runs

To submit runs to the leaderboard, you'll need a way to record it, you can use either a phone and camera, but the use of a capture card or built in recording features (PS4/PS5) is recommended.
