Having trouble in questionable ethics getting around the trigger that activates the sequence with Barney and the scientist. Is there a way to make the trigger visible so I can practice strafing around it and be able to see what I'm doing wrong? If not, are there any tips anyone is willing to give me? Tryedz's tutorial does it with a very small strafe and even if I do a massive strafe it still hits the trigger.

I dont fully understand ur question you want to avoid hitting the trigger? why the whole point is to hit that trigger to start the event to be able to pickup the gauss rifle after dealing with the soldier grunts.
